Cable subscribers can watch the games on either Sportsnet or TSN (broadcasts will alternate depending on date) and Matt Devlin will provide play-by-play for all games with colour commentary from Leo Rautins on Sportsnet broadcasts or Jack Armstrong on TSN broadcasts. In addition, Citytv will simulcast the game against the Los Angeles Lakers on August 1, making this the only game available for free for over-the-air antenna owners.
Otherwise, there are two legal methods for cord-cutters to stream the games – Sportsnet broadcasts will be available live on Sportsnet NOW, while TSN broadcasts will be available live on TSN Direct. Both streaming services offer one-month subscriptions starting at $19.99, while Sportsnet NOW offers seven-day passes for $9.99 and TSN Direct offers 24-hour passes for $4.99.
Diehard sports fans will get the most overall value with a Sportsnet NOW subscription, as you'll also get streaming access to most MLB and NHL games once their seasons restart on July 23 and August 1, respectively. Meanwhile, TSN Direct will carry a limited number of regional NHL broadcasts and the entire MLS is Back Tournament, in addition to six Raptors broadcasts.
