A Taste-Testing Adventure: Eating Vegetarian at Some of Canada's Biggest Fast Food Chains

Whether it's for dietary reasons, or personal, ethical or religious beliefs, the number of vegetarians in Canada is rising. A poll commissioned by the Vancouver Humane Society in 2015 claims that as many as 33%, or nearly 12 million Canadians are currently practicing some form of vegetarianism or trying to include less meat in their diets. Whether this poll is accurate or not, the fact remains that many Canadians are choosing to go meatless to some extent in recent years. However despite the rising number of people searching for meatless options, it remains difficult to eat vegetarian at popular restaurants and fast food chains.
