By Ambia Staley
July 21, 2020A favourite of many in the GTA, retailer Toys, Toys, Toys, has filed for bankruptcy and will soon close all store locations permanently.
Announced earlier this month, the company known for its packed shelves of toys, games, collectibles, souvenirs, and more plans to immediately start liquidation sales at all remaining locations. The liquidation sales will be conducted by Danbury Global Ltd. and A.D. Hennick & Associates Inc.
In a statement, a representative from Danbury Global said, "With so many children at home due to the pandemic, the bankruptcy sale is an excellent opportunity to buy toys, crafts, or games to keep them entertained. There is a great selection of inventory for kids and collectors alike."
Toys, Toys, Toys was created in 1990 and once operated stores throughout the Greater Toronto Area. No cause for the bankruptcy filing was given in the press release.
All remaining stock has been consolidated to the remaining Toys, Toys, Toys locations around the GTA:
- Erin Mills Town Centre
- Oshawa Centre
- Scarborough Town Centre
- Square One Shopping Centre
- Vaughan Mills
The final closing date of Toys, Toys, Toys is currently unknown. You can learn more about the liquidation sales on Danbury Global's website.

Current sale on 07/24/20: 50% off stuffed animals. 30% boardgames and Nerf products on the lowest ticketed price. Quite a lot of inventory still there.
