  • Console savings appear to be the similar, with some bonuses like gift cards or extra games
  • No standalone PlayStation 4 Pro deals, aside from the television bundle at Best Buy
  • Minimal deals on Apple products -- Apple Watch Series 1 and iPad Air 2 are on sale at multiple stores
  • LOTS of offers on CD, Blu-ray and DVD entertainment
  • An unusually high number of vacuum deals -- perhaps a sign that the deals suck?

Big-ticket items like televisions still dominate the flyers, but the overall trend seems to be having quantity over quality as three of four flyers are upwards of 50 pages. The best deals worth considering are mostly televisions -- for example, the Samsung 50" 4K Smart TV is available for $397.99 (approximately $550.00 CAD) at Best Buy and Walmart, while similar models in Canada hover around $800.00 CAD when they're on sale.

With the sagging dollar, precarious market conditions and crazy crowds, it may be better to shop in Canada this Black Friday to protect your wallet (and your sanity).

We'll get a clearer picture on the value of shopping in the US once Canadian Black Friday flyers are released, but in the meantime, vote in our poll or leave a comment with your thoughts on these American Black Friday flyers and stay tuned to RedFlagDeals for more Black Friday news, flyers and tips!

    • EB Games' XB1 S bundle last week was a lot better than any of these advertised specials so far.

    • I have been shopping in the USA on Black Friday for many years. This is the worst Black Friday ads I have seen in sometime. Usually on Apple Products they offer a Gift card with purchase but this year there is nothing. Also the prices on some items as no better than sales they are having right now. Purchase 2 items at Costco for the same price I am going to pay on Black Friday at Walmart and Target beat the crowds and one less thing to worry about. Hope the Black Friday Canadian Ads are good this year as ready to spent my money at home this year if the price is right! Any Idea when we will see the Canadian Black Friday ads?

    • $599 Surface Pro 4 with type cover is amazing! Even if its the m3 version.

$249 for a 28" 4k PC monitor is good too.

      I'm jealous.

    • I have to go to the US this coming weekend (nov. 19-20). Any chance of finding great deals on +/- 50" TVs 1 week early? Even with the current rate and duty/taxes, I think TVs are much cheaper than here.
