You Can Now Order IKEA Food To Go at All Locations Across Canada

By Thomas Kenzaki

IKEA just made it a lot easier to enjoy their classic food court menu at home. As of November 9th, all IKEA store locations across Canada have started offering their menu available to go.

You can order popular menu entrees such as Swedish meatballs, salmon fillets, fish & chips, and butter chicken, sides, kids meals, beverages and even desserts, all to enjoy in the comfort of your home.

In addition to that, they’ve also introduced 2 new family meals for those looking at feeding a larger group.

There’s the Swedish Meatball Family Meal for $29.99 and a Swedish Veggie Ball Family Meal for $19.99. Each comes with 24 meatballs, 2 sides, and a family sized DAIM cake.

To order your food to go, head to the new IKEA Kiosk (not the food court) which is located in the Bistro area after the checkouts. You’ll still be able to order the existing Bistro “grab and go” menu so don’t worry, $1 hot dogs and the new vegan strawberry frozen treat aren’t going anywhere.

With many people still not comfortable to dine-in amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, this provides a great new option to enjoy IKEA food from the safety of your own home.

While there was no news on IKEA partnering with food delivery services like Uber Eats or Door Dash, at least now there’s a glimmer of hope that we might someday be able to order IKEA food for delivery.

    • I had takeout fish and chips last week at Ikea and it was so much better than it normally is because they fried it all fresh to order, unlike what you normally get at Ikea.

    • What happened to their hot dogs which weren't as good as Costco's?

    • They don't serve anything that's worthy of making the effort to pick it up.

I actually like their hot dogs. Costco on the other hand is good too, but gives me the worst burbs I’ve ever had. My wife will not let me buy it and I now agree. Not worth it.
