Coca-Cola Canada Introduces New British Columbia Raspberry & Georgia Peach Flavoured Coke
By Thomas Kenzaki
March 19, 2019As a big fan of soft drinks, I always get excited when new flavours of my favourite beverages are introduced to market. When I heard that Coca-Cola had released British Columbia Raspberry and Georgia Peach flavoured Coke in Canada, I had to give them both a try.
These new flavours were first introduced in the US last year and they just landed here in Canada. In the US the raspberry flavour was marketed as California Raspberry (although I think they both taste exactly the same). Given Canada isn’t famous for its peach production, I’m not surprised that the Georgia Peach name carried over from the US.
Both varieties come in glass bottle 4-packs and can be found at many popular retailers such as Sobeys and Rexall. At a cost of $5.50-6.00, it’s similarly priced to Mexican Coke and at current conversion rates, it’s cheaper than what you’d pay for it in the US.
Like Mexican Coke, these new flavours are made with cane sugar (versus high-fructose corn syrup) which in my opinion, makes for a much better taste. Each new flavour has the classic Coca-Cola taste combined with a nice but not overpowering taste of raspberry or peach flavour.
Coca-Cola Canada also confirmed via Twitter that these new flavours are here permanently and are not just a limited time release.
They're here permanently! Enjoy your Georgia Peach ????

It’s great seeing some new Coke flavours being released here in Canada. While Diet Coke still has a lot more flavours available, at least us regular Coke drinkers finally have some new options.
Let us know in the comments below what you think of the new flavours.

I ordered some New Coke which I'm going to pick up in the US when I visit in a few weeks. I'm excited to see what it tastes like.
Sadly it would seem their new coke promo must be us only
Been tempted to try the cherry barqs rootbeer

Speaking of formulas, pretty sure Coke is supposed to be made with corn syrup because that was the "Original Formula" (minus the cocaine, lol). Hence why for many years in Canada Coke cans said "Original Taste" because we used sugar while in the US they said "Original Formula" due to the use of HFCS. I think at some point they changed Canadian Coke to be HFCS too but I'm not sure. So I think "Mexican" Coke and Canadian Coke were basically the same thing for a while.
Anyway all that sugary nonsense aside, the flavours suck. Taste like some kind of abomination. I think when I was in the US last I even saw some Orange-Vanilla madness--the flavours are getting out of hand.
They should just stick with having Cherry Coke on the shelves here, full-time, just like they do in the US, including Cherry Zero which I've never seen here period. Instead of all this stupid let's-add-whatever-flavour-and-make-it-a-thing flavours which are lame and taste like poison.
