Tim Hortons Launches New Double Double Timbits, Tiramisu Donuts, and Sweet Beverage Treats in Canada

By Thomas Kenzaki

A double double coffee from Tim Hortons is arguably the most popular drink in Canada. Starting today and for a limited time only, you’ll be able to get that same delicious taste in food form by treating yourself to one of their brand new Double Double Timbits.

"We're excited to bring the beloved Tim Hortons Double Double flavour to Canadians in an entirely new way."

The new Double Double Timbits are available individually for $0.29* each or in single-flavour or assorted 10-packs for $2.39*.

Another coffee flavoured baked treat from Tim Hortons is the new Tiramisu Donut. This new creation comes with a coffee-flavoured Tiramisu filling and is topped with cocoa powder and two espresso beans.

If hot beverages are more your style you can try one of these 3 new sweet beverages that were also just released today. Each features the wonderful flavours of both caramel and fudge.

  • Caramel Fudge Hot Chocolate: What is better than a hot chocolate with an added caramel fudge flavour, whipped topping, and caramel fudge drizzle? $2.69*.
  • Caramel Fudge French Vanilla: Change up your French Vanilla with added caramel fudge flavour, whipped topping, and caramel fudge drizzle $2.99*.
  • Caramel Fudge Latte: You'll like this one a Latte! Enjoy the caramel fudge flavour, whipped topping, and caramel fudge drizzle $3.59*.

I’m especially excited to try out the new Double Double Timbits and Tiramisu Donuts. If you’ve given any of the new items a try let us know what you thought of them in the comments below.

    • It's probably disgusting like everything else they serve! I won't be rushing out to try this.

    • If the timbits maintain the same taste at all locations, I grant benefit of the doubt that they might actually taste good.
Their coffee otoh is a world of difference in taste from location to location. (or franchise to franchise)

Donuts and Timbits seem to be more consistent from location to location than their drinks. I found out about these after my morning Tim's run but I'll be giving them a try tomorrow.

    • Tim Hortons has the worst food I don't understand why anyone eats there. They're going to be sorry, they'll try to improve it when it's too late and I can't wait.

It is sad because they used to be so good. I hated them ever since they stopped making donuts really. I don't drink coffee, so it isn't like that was ever a reason for me to go there, and when they stopped being a place that actually made the food it turned me right off.

    • Has anyone tried these? What are they supposed to taste like? What is the flavour supposed to be? They are called Double Double, but double what? Do they taste like a double double coffee?

    • I tried some yesterday. Its essentially a sweeter sour creme timbit with a hint of coffee. Im ok with it.

    • I don't care what anyone says... I like these.

Most offerings at Timmies are bad, but I like their sour cream glazed donuts. These just have some coffee flavor added to it, which actually makes them slightly better IMO.
