    • Wow weak list this month. They are supposed to be adding games to game pass today so hopefully that's better.

Edit: Game pass announced "No mans sky" for next month. Still a pretty weak month.

No Man's Sky coming in June.

I was going to buy Sine Mora a while ago, so I'm glad that I didn't....

    • At this point what can you expect with MS basically giving away brand new high value games for next to nothing through Game Pass. Game Pass is where the real good deals on games is at while XBL Gold is just your standard console online access paywall now

    • Shantae series is great if you like platformers.

    • Im startibg to give up on Xbox Gold free games. Maybe you get 1-2 decent games all year now. At this point I would rather see them do some competitive game sales. Give me some AAA games for $15-$20. I would rather pay a good price for a decent game then get crumbs like a peasant for crappy free games

    • If anyone thinks you'll be getting good AAA games on GWG anymore given their focus on GamePass, it's probably time to shift your expectations.

      i still threw up.

    • I try not to complain about "free" but ...when the best game is a 15 year old OG Xbox game, then maybe I'm not too upset about my GwG expiring next month

    • Considering all 4 titles are highly rated by both critics and gamers, it sure reeks of entitlement in here.

I get what you are saying, but it's hard to be given these games and you see that on PS side they've had a good few AAA-level games being given away for free. These games listed are all rated positively but are not AAA games. Calling them garbage like half the posts here are straight disrespectful because they're wrong, but it's hard not to get jealous at what the PS players have been getting this year.

If you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold, you surely have GamePass too no? This is where you can get AAA games for free on release day.

Yes I have both but that's not the equivalent to PS+. GamePass is a service you pay for to get a larger catalogue of games, XBL Gold is a service that is needed to go online that provides free games each month as a benefit (equivalent to PS+). GamePass Ultimate costs $17/month MSRP while PS+ is like $60 a year.

But this is exactly why IMO XBL Gold games have not been that good. To further drive people to GamePass.

Yes, I’m aware of the differences between the services, but if you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold right now, and then subscribe to GamePass Ultimate, all your existing Xbox Live Gold months will be converted to GamePass Ultimate, meaning that you get GamePass Ultimate for the price of Xbox Live Gold (60$ per year or less with Costco).
