      Also FYI PS5 limited edition won't hold as much value since cover plates are being sold and can be changed easily.
      I hope every person that bought this edition to "make money" instead of letting people that actually wanted one to use, get burned by their investment, and sell at a loss.

    • I was thinking about this the plates and controller I bought and decided to log in and check out the order. Realized that in my haste to purchase, I somehow bought the digital plates instead of the disc version. So upset. Will probably return and make someone else happy at the store. Really wanted the plates the most.

      If anybody has disc plates they don't want, please let me know.

      I bought a transparent cover for $25 definitely improvement for me, not a fan of the white cover and controller. I'm still on the fence with cover for $85. At least spiderman controller is reasonable and practical.

      I am still hurting from trading in my red spiderman ps4 console at ebgames promo for the ps5, but had to do it. It was a spdierman classic design. With the ps5, i feel its easier to change out the ps5 covers and it is a digital copy of game. seems to be same PS5 1TB drive console i think. From the description: This bundle includes a PS5 console with Limited Edition console covers, a Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller, a voucher for a digital copy of the game, and pre-order incentive items...

      I am more inclined to just get the controllers.. limit 1 per acct pre-order. orders made!

      Maybe tempted if ebgames have a trade in promo for this console. ie ps5 TIV $400-500.

      Yeah pretty much my thoughts too. It'll be my 4th ps5 controller but can't resist a good limited edition controller. Also a big fan of the Spiderman games so I imagine I'll probably keep it haha

      Depending on the credit card issuer and the retail store, you might see a pending charge on your credit card after placing a pre-order; eg. Best Buy may do a pending $1.00 to an American Express card or a pending charge of the full order amount to a Visa to make sure the cards are real.

      But you won't actually get charged until the item is physically in their inventory and ready to be shipped out by the retailer.

      The pending charge is just to make sure your card is good, and has sufficient funds for the order. You won't have to worry about it being included in any monthly statement to pay off until the card officially gets charged the full amount; ie. After the item ships out.

      Unless something changed within the past year, this will be applicable to Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart (where pre-orders appear to be live for Spider-Man 2 stuff).

      amazon and best buy charge cc when shipping in my experience. I'm pretty sure gamestop is the same but can't recall for sure

      I originally bought a digital version and really wanted a disc edition. This special edition finally brought me over. I will sell mine after if you might be interested - rather sell to an RFDer than some rando if you are in the GTA region. Let me know!

      So you would prefer a cardboard box? I have mine since release and I think it looks fine wherever you put it. I had it standing for awhile but now it's horizontal in a cabinet and I barely notice it. It's really not that big.
