Next-gen gaming is one click away at Walmart, where PlayStation 5 bundles are back in stock.

As of September 19, one PlayStation 5 bundle is available and comes with a PS5 Disc Console, an extra DualSense Controller and a DualSense Charging Station, while other Walmart-sold bundles remain sold out. For reference, the $779.88 bundle price is $20.00 higher than before, which reflects the recent PlayStation 5 price increase in Canada.

PlayStation 5 bundles are available online only while supplies last and all bundles listed qualify for free shipping from Walmart.

Posted July 21: Get the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge in Canada

Xbox and chill this fall by visiting Walmart, where the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge is now available in Canada.

Originally unveiled in October 2021, the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge is an officially-licensed thermoelectric cooler designed to resemble an Xbox Series X console and inspired by the Xbox fridge meme in the gaming community – instead of playing next-gen games, the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge stores up to 12 beverage cans with two extra shelves along the door for snack storage.

In Canada, the mini fridge was sold exclusively at Microsoft last December, with stock selling out within a few hours. The mini fridge has been difficult to find ever since and Microsoft has deactivated the product page, suggesting that they will not be re-stocking in the future.

The Xbox Series X Mini Fridge is available online only and qualifies for free shipping from Walmart.

    • Oooh love seeing all those downvotes. Since RFD mods refuse to remove these from Hot Deals because they are not, the people of RFD can let it be known that it's not.

This will all work itself out in discouraging future threads like these in hot deals.

      😂

Like how Spider-Man, God of War, Horizon and Uncharted were never being ported to PC?

    • The supply start around 1700. Now 440 in stock. the issue right now is peoples still buy that crappy package bundle. Company notice that and they will continue to sell it like that.
It's not really a big deal, at least in this case its a nwer AAA game and a controller which most people would buy anyhow.

    • Not a fan of the arrogance of the title here. This is a forum, plenty of sections for discussion on inventory levels. This sub-section is for hot deals.

    • Just buy a series x. Been in stock constantly. Cheaper. Access to gamepass (insane value), backwards compatible with OG, 360, one. Enhancements to backwards games like 60fps and 4K

Buying Sony at this point makes no sense

Switched from lifelong Sony to Xbox this generation. Couldn’t be happier

Oh, and used OG,360, and one games are like $2-10 in bulk anywhere. They don’t have high value so you can create an entirely library for basically nothing
The series consoles could be a real thorn in sonys side once they release a few console sellers. Most people buy a console looking to buy a specific game or a few at purchase time.

PC is a bit more expensive, IMO if you want a high end video card. Although for the PS5 you ideally want an OLED TV, I have both and prefer my PC.

    • Nope, they will, just a matter of time - it was confirmed via the Nvidia geforce leak.

They’ve already ported their other most successful titles such as god of war, horizon etc last of us is confirmed, why not this?
    • also depends on what games you want to play - PC has a wider variety - Sony is also porting most of its best titles to PC anyways (God of War, Horizon, Last of Us, Ghost of Tsuhima). Emulators can also be used to play many nintendo games (as well as PS4 games). A gaming PC/laptop may be a bit more expensive but you can save a lot of money in the long run since you can also easily download most games for free from the internetz if you know what I mean (although I would say be fair/honest and support the developers by buying the game afterwards if you end up liking it).

I agree, at least that's how it worked out for me... Xbox series X because the ultimate game pass has superb value along with Xbox/PC gaming pass access. I also have a PS5, but have only played those wicked God of war / last of us / horizon zero/west games which are great but low usage compared to PC and Xbox which seem to be refreshed at every new console generation...

Gaming PC if you are just mainly entertaining yourself... PS5 / X Series X if you have friends you invite over often.
Before you know it, you got them all :)

    • Way more. I don't think PC gamers get this at all.

I'm currently building one right now and it is $1300, with discounted parts, no graphics card, no OS, no peripherals. Would have to buy a $900-1000 graphics card just to be able to play at 4K and 60fps.

      Image

Building a gaming PC is only worth it if you also use it for work. Most people just want to game only, and in that case a console is much better value. It's silly to compare $630 to $2000+.
But be honest, you were getting a pc anyway. The parts you picked show you obviously have more than gaming in mind. For example you could get a 5600 for $188 and it will play games the same as a 5700x in 90 percent of scenarios. A 5700x shows its strength in productivity.
Ya who is he trying to fool anyways? :)

    • PS4's pricing is so that teenagers couldn't afford it, 20 year olds may get one and then play games on their PC because of the lack of exclusive games, 30 year olds remembers how PS3&4 betrayed them of actual games and rationally chooses not to get it, 40 year olds remembers how game stole their time and are too busy for it, 50 year olds may buy it for their teenage sons, 60 year olds+ have never heard of it before.
And now the PSVR2 isn't backward compatible with the games from the PSVR1, so you will have to buy all new games and keep your old gear to play PSVR1 games. Sony and their excuses as to why this is so. Since we know the headset will be expensive, I don't think too many people are going to be early adopters outside Japan. Word is the headset will be out by March 2023 but they are not telling us the price. I figure they want to see the price of the Quest 2 Pro before doing that...

    • Are these even hard to get anymore? I bought one from EB Games to re-sell on Kijiji at cost to try and keep it out of the hands of scalpers and no one seems to care; a handful of views and no responses. Maybe I'll just keep it :)
Everyone who has actually wanted one has already got one.

Anyone who can't get one at this point simply doesn't care enough to make an effort or flat out refuse to buy a bundle out of principle.
