View all2nd order was just for the game, without code. cancelled again.
i figured i'd try one more time and finally got it on the 3rd try! 3rd was with some more groceries and no coupon code. it was so satisfying getting it!
now i see the amazon price...
However if you order from Walmart Grocery but actually add some real groceries you're good to go!
I updated the original post.
Thanks
Finally I got it this morning..!
(minimum 75$)
I will try to get it tomorrow. I ordered some food with the game, lol.
So people are confident to buy their flagship games at $60 because Nintendo has a reputation for doing what you're describing, which helps maintain the second hand market. I don't get your point.
There still has to be demand for used prices to stay high. All the new price does is set a ceiling on used prices, it doesn't set the floor on used prices.
Just like reliable car brands used cars sell for more than junk brand used cars.. so Nintendo has earned- and can get away with it. Ppl be buying up games like Mario kart 8 or Odyssey, Zelda, etc... on switch for over $50 bucks used all the time... because theyre amazing games and worth it.
because of that practice, the games value is held.
Also, despite being at full price years later, their games still sell...
Demand remains high and as such, so does the value.
Ordered twice using the grocery link (with and without promo code), both got cancelled without any reason given. Hopefully this one without using grocery link will go thru.
Lmao, more like nintendo refusing to lower the MSRP, aside from the odd $60 sale here and there.

The Wii U version only sold 2 million units worldwide.
Breath of the Wild on the Switch has sold over 22 million units worldwide and nearly tripled the total sales of the next-best selling Zelda game of all-time which is
Ocarina of Time on the N64 at 7.6 million units sold. It already outsold the best selling game of all-time on the PS4 (GTA V) on PS4 by comparison, with a ridiculously high attached rate
since the Switch has sold about 40 million fewer consoles than the PS4 as of right now.
Even more impressive is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's and Animal Crossing New Horizon's staggering attach rate on the Switch.
They've become more popular than the Pokemon franchise.
I already played it extensively on emulator a couple years ago, but I love this game too much and wanted to play it on the switch now that I have one.
Its still available thru the grocery side
They might think this is too cheap to sell. LOL
party over. damn nintendo and walmart. this game is years old!!!
I just can't get around the combat system. It leaves much to be desired. Especially for being constantly praised.
The ONLY reason why I haven't sold my switch yet is because Monster Hunter Rise is coming out.
Are there re releases? Yup. But I actually appreciate a few of them. This way I can play games I had an interest in years ago or games I never knew about years ago. I didn't have a console or time years ago. Also if it's a re-release that's not Nintendo it will ussually get a decent mark down later.
What's really great about first party titles is I can buy it at shoppers during a 20x event. Then I get back $24 in points.
If I think it's an amazing game I'll play again eventually I can keep it.
If I think "meh it was ok" I can easily sell it for $60 and I essentially got to play the game for free overall.
But what I really like about their first party games is you can often tell the passion that went into them. Unlike many of the games made by EA or Activision.
This video for example left me speechless.

Is there issues with Nintendo? Absolutely. They fight people too easily over their brand. There is often supply issues. Pricing can annoy many people, etc.
But my own experience as a person who used to be heavy into gaming and then didn't have time anymore and came back after years away to the switch has been mostly positive.
As with anything YMMV
