    • Thanks for the reminder, OP. I always forget to check my Twitch Prime benefits, since I have it included with my Amazon Prime membership but don't actually use Twitch.

    • Grinds my gears that they don't just automatically apply whatever you're eligible for. Remembering to go in there and click stuff seems so pointless.

      This. It's not convenient either.

I guess it's to try to persuade you to actually use Twitch, rofl. I thought the annoying edited youtube videos my kid watched were annoying, live streaming is even worse...

I'm pretty sure this is because they only pay money to the company that made game for the copies actually claimed. Less people claim, less they have to pay. Same reason Microsoft and Sony don't just automatically add games to your accounts for their monthly gold/ps plus.

It's in their interest to make the perk advertised but at the same time hard/not obvious to claim. I always struggle to claim my gold games, sometimes I have to do a google search to find out how.

This is exactly why they do it. They want you coming back. They're not giving these away out of the goodness of their hearts, they're doing it to try to increase usage stats.

    • Had some gamecube controllers laying around so bought this GC to PC adapter.

Really hoping we can use the gamecube controllers for some couch co-op Overcooked.

At least they make it REALLY easy to claim them. Drop down the menu, hit "Claim Offer" a few times and done.

    • Highly recommend giving Pillars of the Earth a try rather than throwing it on the backlog pile... One of the few games in my obsenly large steam backlog i actually finished. Great story! (and im not religious at all so if your not either dont let it dissuade you).
