RedFlagDeals.com RedFlagDeals.com: How to Get a Refund for Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One How to Get a Refund for Cyberpunk 2077
get this dealCyberpunk 2077 has been one of the most-anticipated video games of 2020, but while the open world RPG has been praised for its story and graphics (on high-end PC hardware), the game has received harsh criticism for its poor performance on previous-generation consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
What should have been an amazing gaming experience has quickly become a disaster, as reviewers have noted that the game is virtually unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One, with frame rates dipping to as low as 10 FPS and a litany of bugs throughout the game environment.
On December 17, Sony announced that Cyberpunk 2077 would be pulled from the PlayStation Store and will be offering refunds for gamers who purchased the title digitally – an unprecedented move for a AAA game that reflects just how poorly the game performs on PlayStation 4 consoles. The next day, Microsoft followed suit and announced that they would be expanding their digital return policy and offer refunds to unsatisfied owners of the game on Xbox One.
Owners of physical copies may have some difficulties, as most Canadian retailers do not accept returns of opened video games. However, Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has announced that they would provide refunds to owners of physical versions if they email helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com with proof of purchase by December 21 as a one-time goodwill gesture.
- Digital copies – visit Sony's Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds page (PS4) or Microsoft's Xbox Refund page (Xbox One) to submit a refund request
- Physical copies – contact the store where you originally purchased, otherwise email helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com with proof of purchase before December 21
Digital refund requests will be processed within 14 days and will be refunded via the same payment method you used to purchase the game originally.
Refund requests to CD Projekt Red will be processed after December 21 and the developer will contact you directly after the submission window closes.

View allStill, probably my last time ordering a game day one from Amazon. They suck balls.
I preordered Smash Bros. at least 6 months before launch (saved $10) and they were "out of stock" and told me it would take 2 weeks. I cancelled and walked into EB Games and bought a copy on launch day.
"Case with game code and soundtrack CDs"
1. I can use my PS4 cyberpunk physical disc on the PS5 and expect better graphics and load times.l
2. A "true" PS5 version is on the horizon, and those already have the PS4 version may have to pay again.
Runs ok on PS5 but runs better on Series X. You only get Performance mode on PS5 whereas you can choose Performance or Quality on Series X.

2.Free update to PS4/Xb1 disc owners
It's pretty much running the One X and PS4 Pro versions, so it's understandable the former looks better.
I pre-ordered from Walmart with a $25 discount a long time ago but have it sitting here unopened on the fence about keeping it.
As an aside, Walmart has consistently delivered pre-orders to me on release day (for comparison to those bemoaning Amazon).
1. The current PS4 version + PS5 update patch
2. The future "native" PS5 retail version
if I run Cyberpunk on the PS5?
