    • They're calling the VR game a "Bonus" lets hope that they don't replace a VR game with one of the 2 PS4 games each month. Pandering to hardware that hasn't taken off, and needed a dramatic price reduction and repackaging isn't a great value for the Plus community overall.

Infamous Second Son was great when it came out, but third person open world games have evolved quite a bit since it's release, it's a VERY PRETTY GAME. It's a good title, finally.

Strike Vector EX is alright, I prefer Astebreed, but Strike Vector EX is entertaining.

I hadn't heard of Sky Force Anniversary until now, but a great SHMUP sounds like a fun time.

Hue has mixed reviews, but I'll give it a shot, might be fun.

One of the better months in a long time, but thats saying nothing. At least we've got a AAA game even though it's a tad outdated in the gameplay department, the visuals probably still hold up.

Yet you're happy to still get Vita games?

PSVR is far from a failure, the very slight price reduction matches what's going on with PC headsets.

By all accounts it's doing very well and will continue to do so.

    • Strike Vector EX looks like a fun game. Can't wait to check it out.

I've had Second Son in my cart so many times. I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger.

I hope they do more VR games in the future!

I have a vita, it's not up to date with firmware or anything, but these games this month are cross buy with PS4.

    • A full PSVR game....AWESOME!!!!!!

I'm surprised that they chose RIGS as the game though, as it's one of the more motion sickness inducing titles where users definitely need to have their VR legs.

Since they were already offering Hustle Kings as the PS3 game, it might have made more sense to just make it a free cross-buy with the PS4 and throw in the PSVR add-on as the bonus.

That'd be a good way to ease people into the free VR offerings, without making them reach for the puke bucket, LOL!!!!

I already own RIGS on disc, but having it digitally will be a nice convenience....and it looks amazing with the visual upgrades on a PS4 Pro.

Hopefully this becomes a trend, even if it's just bi-monthly or even quarterly.

Excellent timing, as I've got another PSVR being delivered today for a setup in an different room.

Great month Sony, the other games all look solid as well.

I can't wait to try Sparc. It could be something that pushes me to buy a 2nd one to let us play against each other at home. Just need to setup a wall between the 2 players and their systems. Would be pretty fun to see people playing that way!

Rigs was a game I didn't enjoy the demo but I will definately give it a bigger go now.

Agreed that its definately not a system seller.. not a game I'd have people test out my PSVR with!

The prequel, First Light, was free in the past.

    • Good month for select people. I never got around to grabbing Second Son, and I haven't bought any full VR games cause they're generally too pricey for their content.
I also hear Hustle Kings is good, if you're into that kinda game.

yes, but if they started substituting Vita games for the two PS4 games each month, I certainly wouldn't be.

and the ps4 is at 65-70 million units sold, compared to barely 1 million PSVR sold (1.x% market penetration), and even the lackluster Vita still sold 15-20 million units.

Why would you say that? There's still a huge crowd playing PS3 games. There is still games getting released for this console. On the contrary, it's catalog of games is so huge, they should be giving better titles than what they are giving. But hey, atleast the PS4 titles are getting better these months.

    • Awesome month! I've already Platinum'd Infamous SS, and I own RIGS on disc, but I ain't even mad :)

FYI, RIGS is worth >$10 at EBGames (source), making it eligible for the Trade 3 Get It Free promotion. If it works the same as before, the value gets bumped up to $25 when trading towards pre-order or new-release games (you don't need to trade all 3 games to qualify).
