    • Wow, just wow. That is a great month, and everyone gets something good to play. Can't wait to try DS2 on the PS4 and I will definitely play Xblaze and Cyberia on the PS3. Hell, I may play a little Smash Bro... ooops,. I meant Kung Fu Panda PS4 over the holidays.

    • This is actually a bad month. The highest rated game of the month, Darksiders 2 is also a mediocre game. 72% average which is below average for a video game release.

Kung Fu Panda may be a clone of the genre but it is nowhere near the level of quality of Super Smash Bros.
      It is awful.

XBlaze Lost Memories is also well below average.

People on the official blog rated the press release 1.88 out of 5 stars which is probably among the all-time lowest ratings for any PS+ monthly games list.

    • Darksiders 2 is good. I already have it but doesn't make it a bad thing to include. Darksiders 3 coming out soon so it makes sense.

Shame about Kung Fu Panda, was hoping it was a side scrolling adventure game like previous games.

Syberia Collection is great for us, my wife loves the adventure puzzle games.

PS Vita options look fine, always happy to have more games for the road.

Thanks for headsup about Monster Hunter beta. We are likely pre ordering to play together so very nice to get a chance to try.

      Quality post OP.

    • I'm not a Playstation Plus subscriber yet but what happens if your subscription ends....do these games that are downloaded still work or do we always need a active subscription? Thanks

    • Well... I'm glad others are pleased here, because this is a complete garbage month IMO.

Right after a whack of people buy your system on Black Friday... maybe follow up with some awesome titles to get all those new PSPlus subscriptions.

Oh well, I've got lots of games to play as is.

You need to have an active PS+ account to use these games for free. If your membership expires, you will lose free access to them but if you decide to buy a new subscription at a later date, you will regain free access to them.

edit: You will only have access to the PS+ games you add to your library though. If you buy the subscription for the first time today, you will not have access to all the PS+ games ever given out.

Read the replies, they're only butt-hurt because they already bought Darksiders 2 when it was on sale.

Personally, I am sick and freaking tired of all these junk indies clogging my download queue and it's refreshing to see a few actual retail games this month, especially something like DS2 that I will actually play.

    • Boy. No cross-buy on either Vita titles this time. Not that getting the PS3 version of Wanted Corp would be much of an improvement, I suppose.

I feel like December used to be one of the stronger months, precisely because that's when a lot of people needed to re-up. This is pretty bleak.

LOL, you obviously haven't been on PS Plus long if you classify this as a "junk month".

That does suck, and it was my first question when seeing the list as there are a lot of cross-platform titles on there.

    • If you are into trophy hunting easy platinum's, It would be a great month.

For me it is a backlog month. Hoping January is good as months that had MGSV, Just Cause 3, Until Dawn.

It depends, Kung Fu Panda apparently has a god awful grind for a kids game and it's all online grind.

    • I actually loved Darksiders 2. It's a funky twist on the Zelda formula, but with loot.

Time to play it again! :D
