Add a splash of colour to your PlayStation 5 setup at Best Buy, where the just-announced PlayStation 5 Console Covers are now available to pre-order in Canada.

Originally unveiled on December 13, PlayStation 5 Console Covers are a new first-party accessory designed to replace the white side panels that come with PS5 consoles (the console itself is sold separately).

Installation is extremely easy, as PS5 side panels are removable without any tools and the new PS5 Console Covers snap on instantly, transforming your PS5 from Stormtrooper White to Cosmic Red or Midnight Black.

Only Cosmic Red and Midnight Black colours will be available at launch, while Galactic Purple, Nova Pink and Starlight Blue Console Covers will be released during the first half of 2022. If you can't wait, the matching Galactic Purple, Nova Pink and Starlight Blue DualSense Wireless Controllers are also available to pre-order from Best Buy for $94.99 each.

PlayStation 5 Console Covers are scheduled for release on January 28 and all colour options qualify for free shipping from Best Buy.

      Agreed. I'm not impressed by the three new ones...people are raving about Purple being a villain Thanos-esque color but they're so bright.

      Cosmic Red for me...but I've never seen the controller so I don't know if even that's a bit too bright.

      I have the cosmic red. It was part of the bundle I got and they had no black or white left. It’s ok but it’s on the verge of pink. Like a raspberry red.

      32yo guy here. The pink, purple and red look siiiick. Not a huge fan of the price point, will probably wait for a sale. I'm sure the black plates will sell out instantly, but maybe the pink and purples will go on clearance if most people hate them. 🙂
