    • +1 recommendation for Persona 5.

I may be reading into this but seeing games like Tomb Raider and Guacamelee 2 on this list gives me the impression they're getting seriously buried by this years fall line up.

They gotta try to get a few more sales in before RDR 2 pretty much wrecks the next month

I would agree completely, and this next month won't get any easier :)

Anyone played Guts & Glory? Has been on my list awaiting a sale. Looks freaking hilarious.

Eh... lots of these games are very recent. Yakuza: Kiwami 2, The Crew 2, Donut County, Fire Pro, Dead Cells, etc. I wouldn't read too much into those specific games.

I backed it on Kickstarter ages ago on PC. It's a good after-pub type game. We like passing the controller back and forth between turns. Nice controls and a fun challenge. The gore is very over the top and a good laugh if your sense of humour is a bit sick. Well worth the sale price, IMO.

    • Is far cry 5 a good pickup in this sale? I've been looking out for it for a while or should I wait for black Friday?

    • Waiting for NHL to go 35$ like it has the last two years. I think it was around this time.

I've been holding out too. Not much longer to wait now I think - should surely drop for the upcoming holiday season.

      It's usually November.

    • Tempted for Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition since it is fairly new and still retails for 79.99. All reviews say it is amazing and as somebody that played the first and loved it, feels like an inevitable purchase.

You're telling me, I have Shadow of the Tomb Raider and besides taking off the plastic to check out the Steelbook I haven't touched it because I'm 105 hours in to Dragon Quest XI. I'm hoping to finish it before Red Dead 2 (although speaking honestly...DQ XI will still take priority) but it makes me wonder when I'll ever get around to Shadow. I loved the revamp and Rise, and I got Shadow during the E3 sales, but it kinda annoys me how devs neglect Q2 and early-Q3 and release almost everything late-Q3 and Q4. I know most will call blasphemy but I actually had to pass on paying full price for Spiderman because I had too much on my plate, another game I'd love to get around to playing.

Still worth every penny my good man, I wouldn't worry too much about that. Got 125 hours of play for my first play through so $0.50/hour is more than decent.
