Ball don't lie with this deal from the Microsoft Store, because you can get the Xbox One X 1TB NBA 2K20 Bundle for $449.00 (regularly $599.00), for a total savings of $150.00!

Originally released in September 2019, this Xbox One X bundle includes a digital download for NBA 2K20 and for reference, the $449.00 price matches the historical low for an Xbox One X, which was seen last month during Black Friday with the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Bundle. • It's not bad, but I'm holding out for next gen. It's less than a year away and my OG Xbox one is running fine.

No, $450. The price is already $150 off. Original price is $600.

Why would you think the Xbox one X would be worth considerably less than the Xbox One S? If you don't know your Xbox models you should do some research before you spout stupidity.

Because title says "449-150"=300. I have assumed same thing. 449 is cold in pretty much 2020. $300-350 is more like it

    • Should I buy the s? I never owed an Xbox before. Tempting to buy one.

    • If you don't have an XB1 or PS4 and have no intention of jumping into next gen for a few years, this is not a bad deal. There are plenty of games and subscription services to take advantage of.

As an incremental upgrade to your existing XB1/PS4 though, I'd save the money for next gen.

EB has the Star Wars bundle for the same price starting Friday.

Considering it’s still the best hardware system till ps5 comes out next year around this time, don’t expect it to reach that price point. PS4 is at that price point or was/will be boxing week so if you are looking for $300-$350 range, ps4 pro is an option.

It was actually $300 indirectly at shoppers drug mart if you have points during Black Friday. The system itself was on sale for $450 while bonus redemption was going on (bonus $150) which in directly made the system at around $300-$350 is you had PC points (actually you just paid $50 + taxes on $450 but need 250,000 points aka $250 value).

I already have one x, since launch. Just stating the obvious. Is it the best system? Yes, imo, with Switch being close second. Is it worth $500 after tax at 2020, close to launch of new system? Absolutely not. One S can/could be had under $200 and that should tie you over till next gen.

Honestly it depends if you have a 4K tv or not. If you do, it might be worth upgrading just to enjoy gaming at 4K/hdr. If you don’t, then I agree, there is no reason to upgrade to X or pro. Regular ps4 or S will do the trick for 1080p.

Also I suspect while some of us will buy ps5 right away, after this generation, there might be a few more “wait and see” customers because who actually believes there won’t be a ps5 pro like 2 years after ps5 release and that’s when 8k TVs become more affordable. 🤣🤣🤣

    • Honestly I hate sport games bundles because the game devalues so quickly, plus you don't even get any bonuses to go with the game, unlike the Fallen Order bundle (which comes with the Deluxe edition) or the Gears 5 bundle (which comes with every GOW game).

S is probably the best value, but it all depends on which games you like. Modern warfare would work good on both, S is cheaper though and there is a gamepass too. I also prefer Xbox controller to PS4, but again personal preferences
