Eventually, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to use any controller that connects to the device you're streaming to. So yes, you could use an Xbox One controller from a PC. Probably via Bluetooth to a tablet or phone. I don't know if there'd be a way to connect the controller to, say, a smart TV, or Chromecast, or other similar streaming boxes. At the Stadia's launch in November, device support might be limited, though.
There's a standard USB 2.0 micro-B port on the top of the controller.
Yes. You might have to manually download drivers for Win7/8.1, though I think Windows Update should find it automatically nowadays.

Any chance of the order getting canceled? I almost feel like it was a price error by the way the price went back up so fast. Just checked my order and it's still pending.

I have bunch of Logitech nano bt dongle, i wish i can use it instead of having another bt dongle connected to my computer.
Edit: Xbox controllers only became bluetooth capable with the Xbox One S revision (1708)

Is there something i doing wrong? Or its just impossible because of hardware? Or maybe i need to upgrade firmware?
Somebody can confirm? Because i recently read that many use their controller on pc wirelessly without any issue. In order to make it work, i have to plug a usb cable, but as soon i disconnect the cable, it stop working.
5% ain't much but you are a true RFDer.
I have two that move forward slightly and it’s annoying af
