Due to my backlog, there simply no time for me to play PS4 at this point. I've even put playing all my physically/digitally owned games on hold. I'm going to be 100% invested into game pass for the next 3 years. Maybe consider a PS5 afterwards.
I'm scrambling to play 4-6 hours every day on Xbox and PC to complete games with 100% achievements before they're removed from game pass.
Because my backlog is so huge, it's a race against the clock to finish the games before they are removed. I studied the dates of removals and it appears games are removed at either 6 month, 12 month, 18 month, or 24 month after being listed. I'm playing games from oldest to newest in order to maximize my return on investment.

It would still cost 200$ simply to swap an X for an X. Might go the Full Clean and maybe thermal paste if needed.

For example, look at the new COD on the S, rendered at 720p on Xbox One S with FPS drops down to 40FPS.
Upgrading to the X just so I can play this game properly lol
But I fear if I remove the waranty sticker, I won't be able to trade it for the X serie.
If the X can run 80% of the games at 1080p/60fps, yeah, sure. But it does not.
Mine is Scorpio, started to overheat a bit. Wonder if it would make sense to replace for a new unit?
As far as I know, you will be able to play all new and xbox one/xbox 360/xbox original games on it.
Plus I have ultimate gamepass, so I'll be waiting instead. (current xbox is running strong still).
But, non the less it's a tempting deal especially if you need a media box for another TV at home.
It would have been easy to add "+cash" to that equation and make it correct, because as it stands it clearly states:
My One S + $40 of trade in credit = Gears 5 LE
Trade in value of your one s is 130, plus the 40 is 170, how were you able to shave off $200 difference since its $379.99
That's like buy one get one free.
$530 in total... ($429 + $101)
Probably more to do with stock, western Canada was pretty baron. No problems for anyone to get one at many large retailers. No doubt rfd has an awkward hive mind effect at times.
Okay...found out the Alexa devices give you full control of the Xbox using voice commands, including eject, play media, etc. Google commands are very limited. Cortana is also fully supported. I guess M$ hates Google as their commands haven't changed at all from last September...
