Announced earlier via @GameStopCanada on Twitter, the following bundles will be available at approximately 10:00 AM Eastern:
- PlayStation 5 Disc Edition Bundle with Extra Controller and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Bundle with Extra Controller and Biogenik Controller Charge Stand
- Xbox Series X Bundle with Extra Controller and Forza Horizon 5
The PlayStation 5 Disc Edition bundle will include a standard PS5 console, an extra controller and a $30.00 discount on Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart; while the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition bundle will include the digital PS5 console, an extra controller and a Biogenik Controller Charge Stand. GameStop has not released the prices for either bundle and standalone consoles will not be available to purchase during this drop.
For reference, regular prices for all PS5 products are as follows – the PS5 Disc console is $629.99, the PS5 Digital console is $499.99, a DualSense controller is $89.99, a Biogenik Controller Charge Stand is $24.99 and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is $89.99. Very limited quantities for all three bundles will be available online only and stock will likely sell out within minutes.

But general gameplay wise, everything the same but ps5 controller made a big jump whereas Xbox controller the same
I personally like the Xbox more for game pass alone. Gives me a reason to try more games without spending $80 on a single game.
If you’re on a budget, this is fine as a secondary system to a steam PC or Xbox game pass where you can find competing sales quite fast (or just sub to gamepass) and those platforms at least have a good refund policy on digital.
But don’t get this all digital system if you expect to save money at all. It’s strictly about convenience.
