Prepare for battle and be the first to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate on a unique Nintendo Switch console from Best Buy, because the Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros Ultimate Bundle is available to pre-order now for $449.99 with free shipping!

This bundle was first announced in September and the console features a Super Smash Bros-themed dock and Joy-Con controllers, along with a download code for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Plus, all Best Buy pre-orders will get an exclusive Super Smash Bros pin!

The bundle itself also offers $10.00 in savings compared to buying its contents individually. For comparison, buying a standalone Nintendo Switch and a copy of Super Smash Bros Ultimate would cost $379.99 and $79.99, respectively, for a total of $459.98. The standalone Switch would also not have the unique artwork found on this special edition console.

The Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros Ultimate Bundle is only available while supplies last and pre-orders will start shipping on November 2. Super Smash Bros Ultimate comes out on December 7 and the included game will not be playable until that date.

    • It says Release date is November 2 2018... the game comes out in December.... does that mean you get it a month earlier if you get the bundle?? or is bestbuy just lying? If I can get it earlier, I will grab this

but even amazon.com shows the same info and neither mention download a month early.. wait a month before can play the game that is bundled in the system... seems unlikely... maybe they just pushed an earlier release for the game to november 2 and even physical will come out.. yo i am actually excited here ahaha, my nephews are going to get owned.

*** Darnit, the switch box itself says not playable until actual release... ackk... whats the point in releasing a month early? Still giving a thumbs up as i am buying it anyways thanks for the heads up. This will be a hard to find system for the christmas holiday, though wish it was a physical game.

They're quite plentiful at the moment. All these pre-orders get you is the graphic branding on the controller and dock, whereas you're missing out on potential points and/or sales by skipping other retailers. If the unique branding isn't important to you I wouldn't get a pre-order bundle like this, wait for a 20x the points SDM promo (Oct 12th/13th I believe) and get $150 in credit back instead. Walmart also still has some of its Crash Bandicoot bundles online for $379, which gives you a $50 game for free.

Most switches being sold now are hotfixed so that they can't be fully modded

    • Thanks OP but no deal since it's not a physical copy.

Still thanked on behalf of the Smash Bros fan in me.

Because we're not all software pirates just because it's possible? I for one, have no problem paying for what I use.

    • Amazon has the switch console for $359.99. Better deal? Here.

    • A physical copy for any game on Switch is worth far more than digital in my opinion, especially for AAA... cool thing about this is the joycons, those are bad ass.

Why stop there? Help yourself to some cash from your mom's purse to offset the cost of the console too!

There are so many ways to get things cheaper than a hot deals post. I don't know why we even bother with RFD anymore.

Playstation is really the only one to offer a physical game, very few others provide physical and even Playstation isnt always physical.

    • Absolutely terrible for the consumer that Nintendo have went the way of offering game downloads instead of a physical copy with console purchases.

How exactly are we getting $150.00 back in credit if we shop at a 20X the points event? Makes no sense. Show me the math.

No its not terrible for the consumer at all, and if you dont like it spend $10 more and skip the bundle. At worst its annoying for people who prefer physical, but lets not get hyperbolic about it.

Should be $135 back in points if SDM has a 20x event. $450 x 15 points per dollar x 20 times points = 135,000 points.

Except the system at SDM is not $450.00. It is $400.00 and is not a bundle, just the hardware.

    • The pokemon edition best. Isnt the game physical?
      Sold out.

Then this. Controller amazing. Graphics on console amazing

Diablo. Controller color sux. Digital game. Graphics on co sole so so. Worst bundle.

And what's up with rumors about they releasing a pro version with better processor and nicer screen?

The new switch will probably be released next year, but that's just speculation. Personally I'd rather not wait a year to play games like smash
