It’s the directors cut
This is why I buy games from bestbuy even when price is few $ higher. I was worried about this kind of issues. Not that I resell my games, but it does bothers me in some extent because I am a huge game collector. Thank you for sharing this, I will never order a game from Amazon.
From Amazon directly I have never gotten the wrong version.
I order from Amazon.com to get the USA versions sometimes for my favourites, just to get the English-only packaging instead
of the Canadian English/French dual packaging version for movies and games.
I’ve only had issues with mislabeled imports on 3rd party sellers. Lots of cheap EU/UK releases being mislabeled as their far more expensive North American counterparts. Once I ordered a title from an Amazon seller who had both EU and NA versions listed, with the NA version at double the price. I ordered the NA version and received the EU version with a sticker over the barcode. Was not pleased to say the least, collectors beware.
First and only ps4 game I 100%-ed
Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. Graphics via the PS5 are stunning.
When the uncle is training you with the red leaves falling... Wow!
That said, Tsushima is what I wish Assassin's Creed could be...no B.S. mechanics, multiple approaches, intriguing world. The multiplayer is fun free addition. Playing with my buddy is pretty cool.
Ghost of Tsushima is the first game I played on PS5 (went a few years without a PS4 waiting for the PS5 to come out), so naturally I missed out on a few games. Really enjoying Ghosts.
Tsushima is definitely a game I'll re-play when I get a PS5.
They are in shorter supply. The digital-only discless version of the PS5 is only able to play digital PS5 and digital PS4 games.
I agree with all those points. The 4K UHD HDR blu-ray player built into the regular PS5 is good value for that small difference in price too.
I mainly use a Panasonic UB 8204k blu-ray player to play my 4k UHD HDR Blu-ray discs on my main TV setup and that alone costs $500 Canadian + tax.
Although the colour tone mapping quality and sound delivery of the movie playback from the UB820 outclasses the PS5's 4k UHD Blu-ray movie player obviously.
With the digital version-
You can't borrow games from friends or the library
You can't sell the games you never play anymore
You can never buy a game from kijiji or a store for $10-20
You can't watch a blu ray or DVD
You can't play any PS4 games at all, and some recent releases have been updated to the PS5 version
Games can be neutered long after release due to licenses (Ex, GTA games on Steam losing songs because licensing expired, meanwhile my 20 year old PC copy of VC will never have anything taken out)
If you ever lose your PSN you lose all your games
If Sony every goes bankrupt all your games are gone
All for 2 min wage shifts?
Vancouver has bunch of stock @ all their stores if you wanted to pick up in person.
The characters may not be as interesting as those in the best Assassins' Creed games but the gameplay is much better.
Sekiro is different than the Souls games because your main way of attacking is heavily focused on the parrying mechanic and use of stealth unlike other FromSoftware games.
I'd rank the recent FromSoftware games as: Bloodborne > Demon's Souls Remake > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls remastered > Sekiro > Demon's Souls original > Dark Souls 2.
Also glad I went with disc version PS5....deals like this are why.
