    • Meh I would rather buy cheap plastics from LEPIN than sell my kidney to LEGO or a reseller for almost the same thing. Both can go froth at my “fake bricks” for all I care.
      The quality of the plastic alone is a pretty obvious difference. The designs of LEPIN also have this cheap look to them. Lego is expensive for sure, but saying that they are almost the same thing is pretty disingenuous.

      These UCS sets are "cheap" compared to the real estate they occupy on display. :D

      I bought a STAR WNRS death star and the damn thing is pretty close to the original for a fraction of what resellers want on amazon or reseller markets

    • bought this a few weeks ago all my grey bricks had a yellowing to them like it was bad plastic or old. Yeah lego quality has gone down hill for the price they ask. I feel severely ripped off . Would not recommend unless it was half price

      They do have the GoM deal this year. I saw it in store. They are only giving away a reusable bag with it though.

    • I know this is a bit too pricey for most but if any Lego collectors have been waiting for the UCS Millennium Falcon to go on sale Best Buy has it for $899.99 ($150 off) until Dec 1. Regular price is $1049. I think the price before the increases earlier this year was $999.

      costco is $1050 with ATAT priced at $180. take away ATAT and it's $870. vs this BB at $900

      i missed out on 20% off costco earlier this year :'(
