Build some zen with a new LEGO set from Amazon.ca, where the LEGO Botanical Collection Bonsai Tree is back in stock for $69.99 with free shipping!

Originally released on January 1, the LEGO Botanical Collection is a new series of LEGO sets designed for adults with home décor in mind -- the 878-piece Bonsai Tree comes with a rectangular LEGO pot and wood-like stand for easy display, along with interchangeable leaves so you can customize its look with green leaves or pink cherry blossoms. A few other details include:

  • The LEGO Bonsai Tree is a unique gift or mindful project for anyone who loves bonsai trees, plants or building LEGO
  • Interchangeable pieces so you can style the bonsai tree model with classic green leaves or vibrant pink cherry blossom blooms
  • Swap the colours as the seasons change to create an eye-catching feature
  • Both sets of leaves can be custom arranged, making each display unique - check out the hidden frog design in the pink blossoms
  • Revolutionary Botanical Collection uses several elements made from a plant-based plastic, produced using sustainably sourced sugarcane
  • Measures over 18cm high, 21cm long and 20cm wide

For reference, the LEGO Bonsai Tree has been very hard-to-find recently, as the set (along with the LEGO Flower Bouquet) is frequently out of stock at Mastermind Toys, Toys R Us and Walmart.

The LEGO Botanical Collection Bonsai Tree is available online and qualifies for free shipping from Amazon.ca.

Totally agree. I checked this out because of all the threads and hype. I was shocked, it looks like if smeagle was a lego bonsai tree.

    • In for one, thanks OP.

I have enough real plants filling the house. This one will go on my work desk lol.

    • Neat, but, I don't really get this.. Doesn't seem much like actual Lego to me.. Endored by a #DavidBeckhamType though :) I guess these are more geared towards adults .
I think I'll sink into the regular (live) Bonsai instead.

    • I really like it. You can change the foliage from the green to pink flowers which includes tiny pink frogs!

I remember looking for one a while back and found www.bonsaistore.co which seemed to be based in Toronto.

No idea about the quality of plants though as I didn't purchase.

Prices for (real) plants seem to have skyrocketed...everyone becoming a greenthumb lol.

I have a 2 year old monstera that I got for like $20 and I've seen them for almost $60 now, shit is wack.

I also have a $9 anthurium, saw one literally last week for $40 in Independent 👀

    • I think it looks fantastic for a Lego set, if you want a real bonsai to care for then buy a live one.

If you want ugly check out The Child that’s sometimes posted lol.

If Lego The Child doesn’t seriously trigger Trypophobia, I don’t know what will.

    • I ordered it 3 weeks ago when it was in backorder. Hopefully this means it'll ship soon.

I'm glad some of you find it ugly or not worth it. It means it'll leave more stock to people who actually like it, instead of going to people with buyer's remorse.

    • A friend of mine has one. He builds them by adding one leaf piece every day of no fap. Towards 30 days he had one on full bloom with all the flowers, and then he relapsed...

    • The set looks nice but why is Lego so damn expensive. I can't justify spending $70 maybe $30-$40.

    • I love Lego and have lots of sets. But I never found these Lego plants attractive. Lego is now pumping out more and more of these Lego plants as they are flying off the shelves.
