Hot damn, instant buy! OLED + G-SYNC is the ultimate combo in gaming right now MINUS the potential burn-in

    • Nice. This is the same thing that pushed me to buy back in 2017, I think it was Black Friday and same deal, I think it was 10% off all 4K TVs on eBay or something like that.

Just a cautionary note from my own bad experience, if you decide to buy an extended warranty from these eBay sellers or their "parent" stores, make sure they actually give you a valid warranty, check it with the warranty company yourself.

That would almost push me to upgrade from a 2017 model but I know I'll get so little for mine on my local Kijiji, it'll be too painful :).

    • Man this deal really makes me wish I was in the market for a tv right now. Then again I probably would have bit a few days ago at a higher price point. Good lessons learned for two years down the road when I'm looking again.

    • OP do you know who the actual company is behind this eBay account?

    • Isn't this just a gamble. Who is the store behind this ebay seller and how does warranty work? If they ship the TV across Canada, what happens if it breaks on the way? Too many unknowns.

    • You're still playing with fire without a burn in protection warranty if you don't want to limit what you do with the tv.. I don't know about you guys.. but I don't like to baby a tv and make sure a screen saver is running every single time the tv is on and i'm leaving it alone... Lots of things you have to do and follow 24/7 if you plan to use the tv as a pc monitor and be 100% safe... give me an 85 inch lcd tv next year with hdmi 2.1 with slightly worse picture quality all day over an OLED this year... Also, why are the samsung tv's vastly overpriced on that deals page?? i wouldn't fully trust the company...

    • Yeah this is super tempting but the dubious warranty prospects make me hesitate.

I don't get why every OLED tv deal thread has people fearmongering about oled burn in's. Like are you guys paid by Samsung to spread fear or something? This is about the deal for people interested in OLED, if you don't like it, move on.
