    • Good price for a good TV. Not really a new model though, if I recall.

    • Great TV. I got it on BF for the same price (along with the $20 Masterpass discount). Its biggest flaw is viewing angles. You really need to sit 45 degrees or less off centre to enjoy the best picture quality. On par with Vizio D series. Costco warranty for $30 for 5 years is unparalleled. Roku is OK, probably better than most proprietary OS's at this price. Volume levels are excellent for a TV in this price bracket. No real need for a sound bar.

Without knowing anything about this TV, Id say if you want something in this price range, go for a TCL.

Hisense is in league of its own. I have the H6C ,2016 model and friends & family routinely ask me if this is Samsung. The VA panel on this guy is amazing and the sound quality top notch (of course I would not buy a TV basing my judgment on sound quality )

Rca is probably the worst decision you can make for TVs.

59 page thread on them here at rfd on buying them. I wager for this price range their all of equal non-guaranteed quality.
Hisense is a notch above these mostly Curtis units. Apart from that, when buying a low priced TV, warranty is king and nobody touches the Costco extended warranty on top of a no-quibble 90-day return.

    • How would this tv compare to the Samsung UN50NU6900F? I was able to pick up the Samsung for $449 on sale; is it worth the extra $50?

    • Don't know if I'd buy a TV with Roku on it. Don't actually want a "smart" tv at all.

You don't have to use the smart features. I'm sure a lot of folks here connect their android boxes/fire sticks etc.

    • I forgot to add extended warranty. Does costco allow separate purchace of warranty for my tv?

Also, can I return extended warranty if I return the tv?

Costco warranties are no longer in store. Only buy online warranty.

Thanks. Does that mean I have 2 years to decide whether to purchase extended warranty for this tv?
