      Thanks OP!

also just wondering, you wrote: 1 year for $50/month and 6 month for $40/month ... don't you mean the other way around? $40/mo is pretty good for cable, if it's unthrottled!

      Not op, but

      $60 x 4 (months out of 6 payable) = $240 (total paid for 6 months) / 6 = $40/mth

      $60 x 10 = $600 / 12 = $50/mth.

    • Anyone know if the tax will be included? I dont wanna fall for another one of those tricks that FIDO played on me where they offer "free month promo" but had to pay the tax

    • Their 25/10MBPS with 200GB bandwidth is regularly $45/Month which I think is an amazing deal.

I switched to Virgin Mobile Home Internet about a year ago and have had no issues at all.
They're essentially the same company as Bell so you should basically expect similar service quality.

    • VirginMoblie Has excellent service/customer service, I been them for almost 2 years, before that with Bell (Yes same company)

Keep an eye on initial setup/speed test

If you have any issues call back and talk to them and more then likely without even asking for it, they will credit your account for additional month.

AFAIK, Virign mobile is a Bells spinoff and they're using DSL, not cable

    • I've been using this plan since it came out and it's been fantastic. Zero downtime since I got it and speed is always consistent. They were also very quick and courteous with installation

I was told it's fiber to the tower and wireless backhaul from there. So no, not DSL.
