Amazon.ca is taking orders for 25lb, 35lb, 40lb. They have stock coming in and allowing people to place orders.
Thanks for sharing, won't last long. P.S. these are not heavier weight dumbbells!

    • Is $2/lb a good price? Seems pretty high?

It's very high but with all of the scalpers buying up stock these days it's not terrible. I can't wait for the great covid sell off once shit opens back up and everyone is stuck with this equipment they don't want or can't scalp anymore.

That's normal price now. Stores like fitness Depot charge like $2.25/lb

    • 40 lb is $1.75/lb cheaper than anything out there.

So what you're saying is that i should sell my dumbbells now, and buy them back when the pandemic is over? Like stocks

    • I'm going to come out of this pandemic with 5 different dumbbells just to complete a 5 to 45 lbs set.

    • Picked up the 25s. Good enough for the meanwhile with curls, rear delts, triceps, walking lunges, squats.

You just gotta do more reps

If you have any fitness equipment you can do without then absolutely.

    • Been looking for a good deal for dumbbell set, especially at Costco. Feel like it's impossible to get anything, they were always OOS when I found them.

I gave up and ordered this 25lb x 2. Will collect separately.. Thanks OP.

My friend had professional home gym before covid.. He's made crazy profit selling his stuff.

The bench he bought for 25$ sold for 175$.
All his weights were under 1$/lb and he sold them for 3.

He's the reason I'm afraid to fully flesh out my home gym. I know through him that gym equipment doesn't hold value. So I've just bought the bare minimums for now.

Yes, if you are not using them. I was able to sell all my lower quality stuff earlier when some retailers still had reasonable prices then rebuy nicer quality with the proceeds. Got a bunch of rubber coated plates and dumbbells to replace the cast iron etc.

If you get the same style(ie. rubber hex), it's pretty close anyway. I got a few weights from Fitness Depot and a set from Amazon and it looks and feels the same.
