    • Thanks for posting but I was so spoiled by the $350 off/$500 spend promo that it's hard to get excited about this one. (Can't believe I'm so blasé about a $50 savings.)

BTW is this targeted or can anyone with a business name get the promo?
Same here dude. I tried to register like before but it went for verification. Lets see how that goes.

    • Well boys and girls, looks like Amazon is ready to play once again. I got an email and the deal is not that good but it's still a deal:

Create a free Amazon Business account and get $50 off your first purchase of $200 or more.*

You will be eligible to redeem this offer 72 hours after business verification using promo code BSE2023.

And the link on the email: https://www.amazon.ca/business/register ... omo_en_em1

I'm posting here for now so people don't go crazy like before. But I know eventually someone else will post a new thread. Let's try to get our orders in before shtf 😂

      editL additional details:

Create a business account by February 17, 2023 11:59 PM PST.
You will receive an email confirmation within 72 hours of your account being verified.
Once verified, start purchasing and add the code BSE2023 to your Amazon basket (minimum $200).

    • Was it only me that thought ABNEWSBM was valid until January 2023?
The Ts and Cs said people had to 31Oct22 to sign up for the offer and had to use the promo code by that date as well. (That made no sense in that they also said it could take 72 hours to get the code...)

But then they terminated the promo early, IIRC on 23Oct22, presumably due to abuse, um greater than anticipated demand.

That's what I would do. Amazon's "Dear John" letter was quite clear. They want nothing to do with that account. They closed it, erased it and offered no opportunity to appeal. So even if you hadn't explicitly cancelled Prime, there's no universe in which they have a leg to stand on. Let your CC company sort it out and do a chargeback to Jeff.

    • Left hand calling right hand...

A couple of weeks ago Amazon summarily cancelled a business account on which I used both the CIBC $350/$500 promo and the general $150/$300 promo. I can't login to it or otherwise use it. Fair enough.

And yet I continue to get promotional emails from Amazon for that account that invite me to review the stuff I bought, buy more stuff, reactivate Prime, salivate over Black Friday deals, etc.

      D'oh!

    • I successfully replaced Blue iPad 10 to Yellow iPad 10. They also gave extra $50 discount in refund. So my iPad 10 now costed $232 all in.

$350+tax OFF = $395.50, plus they gave $50 on top = $445.50 discount I used towards iPad 10 with tax

Also I would like to say there is day & night difference between iPad 9 vs 10. Its more futuristic , huge bright display as same as Air 5, same camera as Air 5, 4-speakers. And these new colors - O manh! iPad 10 has best colors in whole iPad lineup so far.

    • Should add:
      4. CIBC business Customer?
      Thanks, added.
But both of the businesses I signed up with have valid commercial business addresses/reviews/business data available online (but same physical address)
I had a 1(c), 2(yes), 3(yes), 4(no) account cancelled shortly after cancelling the Prime trial that was due to expire the next day. So it's not clear if the cancellation was due to double-dipping on promos, not being a CIBC business customer or cancelling Prime. (The business is legitimate and can be looked up in the public government corporate databases.)

    • Collecting data points re the "We have removed your organization from Amazon Business" email:
      1. Did you open the Business account using (a) the $150/$300 offer, (b) CIBC $250/$500 offer or (c) CIBC $350/$500 offer?
      2. If 1(b) or 1(c), did you use both the CIBC offer AND the basic $150/$300 offer?
      3. Did you cancel the Prime trial before your account got shut down?

I'm trying to infer what triggered Amazon to shut down the account.

In my case, 1(c), 2(yes) and 3(yes.) It may have been a coincidence but the account got closed shortly after I cancelled Prime.
      Should add:
      4. CIBC business Customer?

For me I didn’t get any notice yet, 1(c),2(no),3(yes),4(no)

But both of the businesses I signed up with have valid commercial business addresses/reviews/business data available online (but same physical address)

For me it’s either using multiple coupons, or having a business with no verifiable presence?

just got an email on two of the accounts I used that Amazon has closed them and reverted back to personal accounts.

"We will be removing your organization from Amazon Business as we have determined that your usage of Amazon Business does not fit with the services we provide"
Interesting. I opened a new Business account without any linkage to my personal account. Earlier today I cancelled the Prime trial on that account before it renewed. What I did find odd is that while I deleted the credit card from Payments, even after I cancelled Prime the original CC info remained in the Prime section of my account profile.

I’m just here for the LOL’s. There will not be another promo like this for a long time. I would keep my eye out around spring time for a minor promo like $100 off $300 or something.

    • This may have been covered already but the thread is massive.

I'm being asked to validate my business:
-- Business permit or license issued by a federal, provincial, territorial, or municipal government
-- Government-issued documents that include the business name and address and have the seal of that government entity
-- Business invoice that clearly shows the business name and address
-- Certificate from a trade organization or an affiliated professional society
-- Any document confirming registration for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), or any other provincial or territory business tax

      Any ideas?
      Yeah start a business.
