View allI still have 3/7 on the cup counter for 7-eleven. What's weird is that I used to receive a promo email every week before March and I get no email anymore even though I still opted in to receive emails .
Yep, it's one of choices of the hot chocolate machine. I guess your points won't expire, but your 7th cup will, after a few months of inactivity. They're 2 different things.
@IDStorms
No, I don't want a physical card. So will I continue to earn points with my virtual card after the date in the email about whatever the change? I actually forgot to ask get a physical card today, I go there only when there's a promo like today.
Their website/app, what a pita. I was already at Tim's, the location I was already there was greyed out on their website, so I opened the app. It tells me that I needed to update. Once it was fired up, it was slow as molasses. My location was greyed out again, but somehow I was able to choose my location. Some Tim bits were sold out. If my email didn't say this was an app only offer, I'd just ordered at the counter. When I went to pick up my order, I was told the Tim bits that I chose were sold out, but they had other kinds shown in the app as sold out!
I'll stick with Starbucks....
Edit: multiquote not working for some reasons...
7-11 has london fog? Last went there in March to redeem my free beverage reward. I still have 4k points left and they are still there.
I just had their new (to me) London fog, it was the worst I've ever had there. It was good that I had a little bit to taste before I filled up, or it could've gone to drain.

This was back in June and nothing has changed. Always wise to read about apps before putting on your phone.
Starbucks offer is not even a BOGO.
McD had free coffee last year, and still has $1 coffee at most locations if you ordered dollar coffee previously or added it to your favorites.
krispy kreme has free coffee too, but a bit too far for me just like 7-11.
I find it weird Tim Hortons did not limit this to 1 per person.
Starbucks giving out a free bakery item for NEXT visit with a handcrafted bev grande or larger, which I find cold.
And McDonald's? I've received their message about the Coffee Day, but there was no special offer. The worst of all.
DragonRider, I think if HappyValley1 already claimed the deal before it was locked, it should still work. I already got $5 credit in ampli but it is still showing in my account. But it is just my thought and I am not an expert
You can do this to earn Drop points though.
Payment in-store with the app is also this super awkward dance where do I scan my Tim Rewards first or my Tim Card first? And they also removed the offer to buy a box of 10 TImbits for $1 by completing their survey. I am still of the view that Tim's loyalty program is a joke in terms of its execution and customer friendliness. I found McDonald's and Starbucks to be best since I know where I stand for my loyalty progress and what promos are available and applied.
Just got me a croissant and a free med DD.
It seems I can only load a new Tim Card on the app by paying $5 from a CC.
EDIT: Figured it out. Needed to first load $5 onto a new e-Tim Card via a CC first before I can transfer funds from other Tim Cards.
Important Notice: Changes to the Tims® Rewards Program Terms effective October 28, 2020
Link your card on the app or online by October 27th to continue to collect and use your Points! As of October 28th, unlinked cards can only collect Qualified Points that can only be used once the card is linked.
How do I know if I have linked the physical card to my account or not?
For reloads, I've always found it easiest to just use ApplePay on an iOS device.
Just because the app is less terrible than the others, doesn't make it not terrible.
It's terrible because I spent 15 minutes trying to load funds onto the app. There's no easy way to find your current balance. And in the end, my CC was never charged (I guess that's a good thing?)
No, it appears to be once per phone/app/account. I redeemed mine, and can't put through a second order to get free coffee (showing up with no discount).EDIT: It looks like you can, but have to wait ~30+ minutes between each order. Here (in Alberta), they're $0.29/ea.
In my test order, I had 1 Timbit at $0.29, and the coffee showed up as $2.19 with no discount. As soon as I bumped it to 2 Timbits ($0.58), the coffee was fully rebated (-$2.19):
Folks who do use the loyalty/reward card, be sure to turn off your reward (set "Bank my rewards" at checkout), or you may accidentally use your points instead of getting the actual freebie.
Also, I noticed, despite having activated the +10 bonus points offer, I only got 10 pts (not 20) for this order...
The app isn't actually terrible, I have more issues with the McDonald's app than this one and the offers / points can be pretty good depending on the promo with Tim's. Pity the coffee is so inconsistent and more often than not, terrible.
Even the Starbucks app has its issues, and until last week, also had to be topped up with a minimum of $10 through the app. So I guess all of the people complaining about topping up $5 never used that one.
As per the coffee price issue, I simply deleted the coffee, and asked for it once I was at the drive through window.
In my case I'm pretty sure it was because I ordered another deal from the app, and this promo says it cannot not be used with any other offer.
Update: Web ordering still seems to work for me.
Update 2: it wont let me do the free coffee stacked with one of my offers so now I have to make two separate orders.
This app is totally stupid.
