    • Come celebrate National Coffee Day... here's a promo... that's "not valid on purchases of hot brewed coffee"... anyone else see the irony in that?
(if my Alanis is on point... that's like rain on your wedding day).

Guess they really want folks to buy the fancy schmancy handcrafted bevvies.... come on Starbucks it's not called National Handcrafted Day.

It sucks I use to like their chocolate chip cookies but for some reason they got rid of them.

    • Tim Hortons is offering a way better promo for once.

Even bogo beverage is way better than this.

    • At best, its a luke warm deal. Need to spend at least $5 to qualify for the promo as "Not valid on purchases of hot brewed coffee or tea or Starbucks Reserve® beverages." For the same $$, I can get a coffee and muffin at McDonalds @$2.19 for 2 days.

I can't comment on bakeries but for the coffee ,Tim Hortons is better because usually it is fresher beans compared to the old , oily, too dark beans of the Starbucks.

    • An Americano is a handcrafted beverage, Grande is about $3 and has 3 espresso shots in it.

Yes, cheapest qualified is probably the Caffè Americano.
Venti is just $2.65 plus tax in Toronto if you only want 1 shot.
Order the Misto version if you desire more milk, or change add-ins to put creamer instead of water.

They're actually more of an oven than a microwave, but they're breakfast sandwiches are not great...though Tim Hortons also has terrible breakfast sandwiches, too.

Yeah sometimes I've got them and parts are still a little frozen. Tims isn't great either but at least there they put the (pre-prepared) pieces together. Starbucks is just taken out of a packet, stuck in the oven and given to you. I mean, I'd still rather have Starbucks breakfast than no breakfast, though.
