this offer is expired

Celebrate Canada Day by dining at Mandarin, because Canadian citizens can eat a free buffet meal at all restaurants on July 1!

Proof of Canadian citizenship (birth certificate, citizenship card or passport) is required to eat free and all 29 Mandarin restaurants will be participating in this annual event -- all buffet meals will be free the entire day, including coffee, soft drinks and tea! For reference, buffet pricing on holidays is regularly $22.99 or $29.99 per person for lunch or dinner, respectively.

Restaurants will seat customers on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 12:00 PM and no reservations are accepted. This annual event historically draws extremely long lines, so we'd advise heading to your local restaurant early if you want to get a seat.

This offer is available on Monday, July 1 only from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM at all Mandarin locations -- click here to find the restaurant nearest you.

    • Maybe Canada day isn’t a busy day bc people cottage and bbq. But if a group of 10 come in, all citizens then that’s nuts.

This might cause issues for the business. You cannot discriminate people living within Canada, citizen or no citizen.

If that's the case, people would spend more on snacks while sitting in their tents than what the actual buffet will cost them lol

    • Okay they have done this many times before... I must say lineups are insanely long. Expect if your arrive after 9 am you're entering after 3 pm. And yes, the food quality is pretty bad compared to their normal standard.

Not that I have anything against the restaurant, just want people to not be disappointed.

Not really discriminating. Mandarin does not HAVE to offer FREE food to anyone.

They will most likely allow anyone to enter their restaurant (if they don't then it would be discrimination), but if you are not Canadian then you will have to pay.

This is why people can't have nice things. When people are even complaining about FREE.
