    • I feel like this is not enough for 2 people, but a tad more than enough for 1 person.
If they included 2 sides, that would be perfect for 2 people IMO.

    • 1 piece of chicken at popeyes is the same as 3 pieces at KFC.

    • This is actually a decent deal, even though I prefer Popeyes these days

    • Not all KFC locations are the same, some actually give the full pieces still. Other ones I have gone to cut the thigh into a half....

You need to experiment around and stick with the locations that dont rip you off.

My go to KFC is the one on Albion and Hwy 27 here in Toronto/GTA. They also seem to double fry the chicken (more crispy and less jelly skin).

    • KFC cut the pieces in half and tells us they are the same size as before...thinking we must be stupid.

    • I don't see pieces cut in half, just micro chickens. they have the smallest pieces of any chain in my area

    • KFC cut their pieces in half and I boycotted them for like a year or so but I am addicted to their original chicken and I can't help myself anymore. People who prefer Popeyes are just hipsters.

    • KFC used to cut their whole chickens into 9 pieces but they suddenly decided to cut their whole chickens into 12 pieces, and claiming that this is a result of listening to customer feedback, also claiming that this is better for their customers. (Not!)

They lost my business, as their chickens were already small but to cut them into smaller, more pieces, raising their prices and claiming it's better, is absolutely insulting!!!

Honestly, I think this is a result of all the people going in on Tuesday, ordering the special and asking for all thighs. It's ridiculous that they even accept this. The box is one leg, one thigh. I'd understand if you add an extra piece and ask that to be a thigh but they let people abuse the system and now they made thighs smaller. What they should've done was just not let people pick.

From their KFC website linked by fluid max:
"Our highly trained team of chicken experts worked tirelessly to figure out a way to cut the chicken so you get the same amount of finger lickin’ goodness for the same great price as before. That means a bucket of chicken will still provide your family with a satisfying, filling, and great-tasting meal."
I have no business arguing against the highly trained team of chicken experts... though mathematically I'm having a hard time believing 9=12.

None the less thanked OP - good deal they pointed out which was the purpose of the thread.
