      What's the $30 promotion?

    • So it looks like there's some error or miscommunication with the promo on DoorDash. I ended up getting 24 pieces of chicken for the price of 1 6 piece bucket.

I ordered a 6 piece BOGO deal for $22+tax. At first I thought I messed up, but the promo code on DoorDash literally says to add 2 BOGO meals to your cart. It then discounts the order in half, meaning its correct. I couldn't get just 1 BOGO for $11.

I guess the worker thought I had ordered 2x 6 piece BOGO, meaning 24 pieces.

Oh well, I guess I'll just give some away. 24 pieces is a ton of chicken lol
      Same here - ordered 2x10 got 4 x10. not bad for $18+.

Wow, this happened with the gravy lover sandwich too!
Ordered for tomorrow. Hope they don't fix the error and cancel. I'm a little worried this might be a ymmv situation. The receipt says 2 x Bogo original recipe chicken 6 pieces. The advertising says you get 12 pieces for Bogo. Which you are....

You can easily interpret this both ways.

    • FYI, throwing the leftovers in an air fryer made them extra crispy the next day haha

    • I ordered the 10 pieces BOGO tonight. I have not eaten at KFC in years. I used to eat the $2 Toonie Tuesday special every week years ago.

I got my order and I was surprised at how small the pieces of chicken were. The fried chicken were too salty and they were very dry, overcooked and hard. Popeyes and Jolibees fried chicken is much better. I wish I bought my own chicken and cooked them myself in my air fryer. Waste of money.

Heffy’s. I had a $15 off skip promo. Even without the promo it kicks KFC’s sorry ass with or without this deal.

    • I just scored 12 pieces, wedges and free chicken burger for <$19… from another fried chicken place on skip with good reviews.

Safe from my KFC temptations that would surely end up in inevitable regret.

How were you able to get $4.64? Are you in GTA? It's at least $8 something before tip even when using $30 first time order

    • Two years ago this time, I ordered online BOGO. Due to covid, you were not allowed to enter the store until they called you or something like that. The line up was like a mile long outside of the store. I never picked up my food.

Pretty sure you're confusing wings. Costco doesn't have fried chicken pieces. They have strips and wings.

    • IMO most pieces look normal to me, some smaller, but not like it matters anyways once you reach the point, as it's impossible to eat all this chicken

Don't think so. I just checked and its still available... just not any of the KFCs close to me. Closest one is 15km away and pick up only.

    • Ordered a 10 piece and got delivered 2 x 20pc buckets. Someone messed up. The quality is still ass, never again.
I also got an accidental double order of b1g1 14 piece buckets for 50+ pieces.

PS. Air Fryer makes a huge difference to the soggy delivery

    • Buy 1 get 1 = 2
      Buy 1 get 1 - qty 2 = 4

      Does that help you?
BOGO in the title is referring to being part of the deal.
The description literally tells you to add 2 in order to get one free.

Why don't you just add 2 buckets to see for yourself that it remains the SAME price!? Hence the second one is free.

    • Wait, you ordered 1 and only got 1.

But you expect ordering 2 will get you 4?

I'll be respectful and just leave it at that.

    • Am I the only one ordering this deal so I can get my cheap KFC fix once a week? I obviously plan to freeze and reheat it.

You can tell I'm so poor 😥
Bring frugal is different from being "so poor". We're all in tough times right now, so there's no need to put yourself down.

The chicken will probably arrive cold and soggy anyways, so you'd need to throw them in the oven/air fry for best results.

    • Lol, if you only added 1 bucket to your cart, then it actually is your fault.

Your understanding of how BOGO works is the problem. I can say this for certain because it actually tells you what to do in the listing:
      "Buy 1, get 1 free
Add 2 to get this offer. Multiple redemptions apply."

    • I also ordered this out of nostalgia and instantly regretted it. I don't really care about the size of the pieces, but my childhood memory was of crispy KFC that was delicious to eat. Maybe that wasn't ever true and I'm misremembering, but this chicken and the skin was so soggy and soft. Any taste it had was just pure salt.

I had hyped it up for my kids and none of them really wanted any after tasting it. We literally gave away 80% of the chicken (about 15 pieces worth) to a neighbourhood friend that we knew would appreciate it. I think I can safely say that I'll never eat KFC again for the rest of my life. It was terrible.
This was the reason why I bought KFC again too, never again. lol

    • Good Lord, KFC is absolutely awful. It's really gone way downhill from what I remember as a kid in the 2000s. I ordered this deal and every single piece was tiny. Much smaller than anything you'd get at Popeye's or Mary Brown. The size of the chicken was actually insulting.

In addition, the chicken was soggy and had very, very little taste. I had to use ketchup. I definitely won't be going back to KFC anytime soon.

    • If you are wondering why KFC is so bad these days and not like anything you remember from when you were younger, this video explains it all:

      https://youtu.be/VVNSn7oYnOU

Also, the KFCs in my city were all “Sold Out” of their Bogo deals. They are sold out of 6 piece x 2, but apparently regular priced 12 piece buckets are still available of course. What a joke.
ALL fast food chains have gone downhill, more notably since covid. Quality and portion size decreased immensely since the 90s, yet we pay more...lol

i took a chance with Skip the dishes - i thought they would screw up and deliver 1 bucket, but 2 buckets came, albeit with small pieces of chicken and lacking seasoning (most likely due to quality control being non existeng thanks to BOGO deal and the kitchen guys working twice as fast)
