    • Whoa, did they reverse the change to allow take outs? I am not sure if I feel safe to take the kids to the restaurant yet. In the previous year they allowed take outs.

    • I thought last year was dine-in only as well... Which is why I didn't buy.

    • Still have a couple from 2020, before the pandemic... Wonder if they are still valid or if they expired them.

No, they expired end of June. You can check the balances online.

Last year they started off dine-in only but later switched to allow take out. We used to get loads of these and give away in goodie bags but I guess we'll skip this year.

    • Did they skip the $5 personal pizza last year? Is it going on this year? It was the only time I dined in at BP.

Looks like they skipped it again this year, or at least delayed it if they're still doing it. It was the 2nd week of August in 2018 and 2019. Hopefully they bring it back next year because I always stopped by for the $5 pizza.

    • no buy because dine-in only

    • Last year when dine in was closed they let us use them for take out....dine in is now open so I can't see them allowing take out....if dine in gets shutdown again I'm sure they will permit takeout option.

    • I just bought 2 cards thinking hey, if I don't go dine in cause of COVID and don't use it, I donated 10$ to charity.

Here's what the fine print says:
*Kids meals loaded onto Kids Cards are each valid for one (1) FREE $7.99 kids meal with each minimum purchase of $16 (excluding taxes & gratuities). In Quebec, the card is valid for one (1) FREE $5.99 kids meal, with each minimum purchase of $14 (excluding taxes & gratuities). Valid for dine-in and phone-in orders only. Upcharges apply for ‘Bigger Appetites’ Meals and all add-ons. Not valid with any other coupon or promotional offer. Card expires on June 30, 2022. Please present card or card number before ordering. No cash value. Price includes all applicable taxes.

So maybe take out looks like is possible if calling in which is what I did with last year's card

    • I've always found the dine in rule totally restaurant specific, and even at the usual location I go to it depends on the staff at that specific time

    • Weird...in Edmonton and the fine print says Dine-In only. YMMV I guess.

    • I never had trouble using multiple free meal on the same occasion. Simply need equivalent number of adult meal.

    • Too bad they have stuck to dine-in only for this as opposed to take out since many people (like myself) are still not quite comfortable yet for dine-in.

I get your point, but margins are way way higher on eat in with drinks so they can afford this.

    • We’ve been availing this since it was launched years back and it does help a lot with the bill especially I have two kids’ meals everytime.

We always buy couple cards and its enough for a year’s worth of BP dining.

    • I can confirm this works on a phone-in order in Calgary. Also, I was able to redeem two kids meals for my order as it was >$32.

    • Did anyone happen to buy an extra card that they’re willing to part with? I missed this last round and am looking for one card.
