    • Bought these at the Costco in store event and thought that they were on the pricey side, but these are crazy robust and have stayed sharp for the 2-3 year I've been using them.

Theres other shears for less than half of that: https://www.zwilling.com/ca/zwilling-tw ... 001-0.html
I've paid $80 for these and they are the best shears I've owned. They are hand made in Germany and no plastic. German steel. All steel with red enamel. Like knives, they will last a lifetime if you dont abuse them.
I've owned the other zwilling $30 shears with the black plastic handle from my zwilling twin cuisine set. They are still sharp but dont have the weight, feel, and quality of this one. This is the lowest price I've seen it and IMO, a steal. Don't forget to add the 10% off from newsletter code. It wouldnt let me use the code with 1% Rakutan. I bought some for gifts and the $21 one as my beater

Don't worry, anyone whose been on rfd long enough to be convinced to buy a 50$ pair of scissors will also have learnt to use their herculean strength to rip apart boxes at a molecular level with their bare hands and all this within a quarter of a second or less.

      Buy two without coupon:
      $100.80 + $13.10 (ON 13% tax) = $113.90

      Buy two with coupon:
      $100.80 - $10.08 (10% coupon) + $15.00 (shipping) + $13.74 (ON 13% tax) = $119.46

The 10% off coupon copied above takes you below the free shipping threshold which means you then pay for shipping which cancels out the benefit of the savings.

      $100 becomes $90. Fr

    • I have these: Shun Amazon DM7300 Multi-Purpose Shears. Best kitchen shears I've ever owned. Make sure to click on the one sold by Amazon, currently $60.47 free shipping. I actually have the Kershaw ones (Shun's sister company and bought for around $40 but no longer available). These are built well and come apart for easy cleaning.

    • Bought these a while ago at one of the 50% off sales. Hard to find on sale as they are often excluded from sales. They are the real thing and have been made the same way for many decades. Solid forged stainless steel with red enamel on the handles. The enamel may start to chip off over time (maybe cause dishwasher?), but that doesn’t matter.
Stupidly sharp, precision made in Germany, they’re really the last kitchen shear you need. Dishwasher safe, can be resharpened and you can take them apart (screw holds the two parts together). Used ours a lot and they are still not loose.
We use ours to cut up poultry, cut up basically anything in the kitchen, including things we should not, and to open Amazon boxes.
