    • Best time to buy Bounty is to stock up at Shoppers Drug Mart. I regularly get 200pts per $1 spent on paper towel, stacked with 20x the points, and when it’s on sale for $5.99 for a 4=6rolls package (as it was this week), it brings the price down to $0,50 per roll or around $3.00 (pre tax) for the package. Better than the dollar store or the single-ply PC brand garbage.

How often do these stars align for you?

    • Which one is better? this or the costco deal on sale this week?

    • Seems like Costco has the larger packaging (12 rolls x 96 sheets) vs Amazon (12 rolls x 83 sheets).
But if you work out the math per sheet, Amazon @ 14.97 (with the $1.00 off coupon) seems to be the better deal.

Usually the Bounty goes on sale every 3 weeks. And usually every 9 or so weeks I get the Bounty offer, and there’s always a 20x points going on, so even if you don’t have the 200pts per $1, on sale with 20x points at Shoppers is still a hotter deal.

      Amazon by a bit.

      Costco........$17.99 / 12 rolls / 92 sheets * 100 = $1.63 per 100 sheets
      Amazon......$15.97 / 12 rolls / 83 sheets * 100 = $1.60 per 100 sheets (and even better with S&S)

It boils down to if you can meet free shipping, have Prime, or if you're going to Costco by Feb 23 anyway.

    • Bounty sheets can soak more as compared to costco. Just try it yourself.

    • Don't forget you can subscribe to these for an additional 15% off. $12.57 with coupon and 15% subscription discount is not too shabby ;)

    • be careful placing the order on amazon.. you might missed the $1 coupon

    • Isn't the Kirkland brand paper towel still a better deal? I think 12 rolls of 160 sheets for $17.99. Regular price.

I made sure to clip the coupon before I ordered. Only got 5% through subscribe and save but I'm ok with that.

    • One personal pick I have with the way we describe cost per roll/sheet for paper towels and toilet paper. The same unit of measurement isn't being used-as brands have various sizes per sheet and sheets per roll.

Should break it down as cost per square metre. For example costco's 2 ply TP consistently is about $0.16 per square meter-and cheaper than any other brand have found on sale, even when considering points.

Absorbency, feeling, etc- well that's all subjective, sort of. Unless there are absorbency tests to compare the various brands.

Anyways, my tangential rant is over.

Costco sheets are larger (per piece), if that helps anyone, each sheet is larger than what competitors are selling.

Costco; One package (12 rolls X 160 sheets per roll (above is incorrect per Costco.ca website) with each sheet 27.9 cm x 17.7 cm)= 95.5 square meters (listed on the package on website)= $0.19/sq. meter
Amazon Bounty= (12 rolls with x 83 sheets per roll per Amazon with each sheet 27.9 x 14.9 cm)= 40.8 square meters (listed on package on website). = $0.35/sq. meter.

You are getting hosed by Amazon/Bounty by a large margin.

    • It's true costco sheets are bigger. To me theyre the "just right" size. I dont know why i dont buy it often at costco but mainly buy via wally/amazon which the sheets are smaller. Feels small too
