    • roopster,
Minutes ago, I just ordered one of the 6 user o365 packs. My email receipt indicates I'll get the digital license code tomorrow (Estimated delivery date: March 31, 2020) and the gift card will be received when/after the sale ends (Estimated delivery date: April 08, 2020 - April 13, 2020). If this is incorrect and I get the GC sooner, I'll update you. It's still a good deal to me because I usually pay MSRP like a sucker.

It's also worth noting, you need to manually add the $25 Staples Gift Card in your cart along with the Microsoft item. Otherwise you'll get an error when applying "This discount code does not qualify for this order right now".

    • I am getting “this discount code does not qualify for this order right now message” is this expired?

    • If I understand correctly, "Gift cards can be ordered but not redeemed online or by phone" means that you cannot use this gift card on future online purchases? Only at physical locations?
Also, how long does it last? 1 year?
      Thanks

See my note above, "It's also worth noting, you need to manually add the $25 Staples Gift Card in your cart along with the Microsoft item. Otherwise you'll get an error when applying "This discount code does not qualify for this order right now"."
It's silly that it's not automatically added, so you need to find the Staples $25 gift card and add it yourself as if you're purchasing it.

Another thing worth noting is that this offer cannot be compounded with other $10 coupons or alike.

      yes, please let us know.
before this, did you already currently have an active o365 home account (5 or 6 users) ?
I assume you do, so that you'd probably already been some part thru your yearly subscription? (oh, unless you're paying monthly)
If on yearly, will you be applying this somehow into future years?

I just checked my email and Staples.ca sent me an email with the digital code; "You may use the Product Key(s) to activate the product.
Product Key: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX". It was electronically delivered within 24 hours but did land in my Junk Mail (with outlook.com).

I applied my unique key by logging in to outlook.com > My Account > Manage > 'Redeem a card or code' and then followed the prompts for account information. My account was due July of 2020 and it's now extended to July 2021. Confirmed, it works for renewals.

    • FYI the permanent license versions of Office are still available, even though Microsoft hides them a bit.

If you don't use the online features, IMO you are better off spending slightly more initially on a software that you can use for many years without ongoing costs.

    • Anyone know if I buy 3. Can I "Stack" them together to have 3 year subscription?
      e.g
Use my email to buy 1st, get $25 GC
Use my wife email to buy 2nd, get 2nd $25 GC
Use my daugther email to buy 3rd, get the 3rd $25 GC.

Now when I register with MS, I register all 3 under my account as "admin" of the HOME, so I got 3 year subscription.

      Does it work this way?

The license key isn't tied to your email, so there's no reason you couldn't do it this way.

    • I spoke too soon. After placing my order, it was cancelled. I thought maybe it was my VPN or the cashback site I used. So I tried three more times: no VPN, no cashback site then different credit card. All orders were cancelled.

Side story is in reviewing the cancellation emails I noticed that the text of the link to contact telephone support is different to the actually number it's linked to. Text reads 1-877-360-8500. The link sends your phone to 1-888-360-8500. The former is Staples customer service
hotline. The latter is a is a phone sex line.

Nope, you buy it at regular price of $110 (oddly MS sells it for $109) and get a $25 Staples gift card. Offer still on-going as of this monring
