get this dealHelp your kiddos feel better by visiting Amazon.ca, where Children's Tylenol is back in stock online.
As of January 27, Grape Punch Children's Tylenol is available to order with a small $1.00 discount, while other varieties have sold out. While not a historical low price, discounts on Children's Tylenol have been virtually non-existent since mid-2021 – for comparison, the same item is currently $11.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart.
For reference, Children's Tylenol and Advil have been difficult to find over the past year, as there has been a shortage of pediatric acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil) in Canada dating back to 2021.
Children's Tylenol is available online while supplies last. Amazon.ca offers free shipping for all Prime members or on orders over $35.00 for those who aren't members.

View allExample... you have an 18 month old who takes 1.5ml dosage of infant tylenol. If all you have is childrens tylenol, then give that 18 month old 1.5ml x 2.5 = 3.75ml (round it to 4ml)
It's the same drug - just different concentrations.
As an added bonus, childrens tylenol is much cheaper than infant tylenol once you figure out the math... you get a lot more acetaminophen from the childrens bottle for the cost. The only drawback to using the childrens version is that you have to give your child more liquid, which for smaller infants is less convenient.
Tylenol has been used effectively for 50 years... Follow the instructions on the package and it will not harm the child

Nevermind that we're still dealing with a baby formula shortage
I'm all for being resourceful and for those in a bind that have kids who aren't fussy, break 1 into 1/2 or 1/4 or what amount based on the math for acetaminophen or ibuprofen dosing and crush it up and mix it with something that isn't citrus based and give it ... If your kids will take it (I have 1 who will).
For those whose kids who can't ( and I also have 1 who won't even take the liquid if it's a different colour but the still the same flavour), get the liquid and 1 bottle per child at a time, should be enough. I tend to give a little less than the recommended amounts for a fever because I prefer to keep it around 38C and under so the immune system keeps fighting off whatever is infecting my kid rather than completely suppressing it.
One other thing, the US supplied bottles are slightly larger vs standard CDN ripoff size bottles. Unless you buy at Costco...
Fastest delivery Wednesday, January 11.
I thought I was being nice in December by only buying one bottle, it arrived last week and finished after a couple days with my little toddler
I REGRET wholeheartedly that I did not order that second bottle because I couldn't find any today.
2 bottles is very reasonable, when fever's happen, they happen fast.
Fact is every kid is different, for some the 'crush a pill in the jam' works great, we aren't all that lucky though.
Our little one won’t eat jam or even their favourite snack when sick lol.
For e.g. 1 yo should get 1.5 ml (or 120 mg) of infant which is equlivalent to 3.75 ml (120 mg) of kid and as usual, please consult with your doctor in case of any doubts.
Local SDM seem to have decent amount of stock in pharmacy behind counter there past 3 weeks.
Edit: RFD felt enlightenment was the more appropriate word rather than English?
At another, SDM, they had it at the front cash and you had to ask them for it.
I did just order a bottle of the children's stuff, they had some in stock under the banana flavour
Thought US had no shortages....
Go by weight as well. The liquids are for small kids. Once they get close to 100lbs then can get pills. Ask pharmacist.
