Originally released in December 2019, these headphones are Sony's newest mid-range noise-cancelling headphones, slotted below their premium WH-1000XM3 model. These headphone take a few design cues from the award-winning WH-1000XM3, including the same QN1 noise-cancellation chip and touch controls.

Costco is currently the only Canadian retailer with the headphones in stock, but for comparison, the headphones first launched in Europe at €289.00 (approximately $449.00 CAD). Other features include:

    • if they didn't change the shape too much, and found a way to reduce the weight, then it should be really comfortable.

      This also explain why costco was clearing the 900 out for $150 around mid Jan

      Pretty much, for $100 more, u get these upgrade
      7hrs more of battery life(35 vs 28 before)
      Softer feeling earcup,
      Slimmer headband that supposedly contour around the head better
      Bluetooth 5.0,
      USB C connection
      Lighter then the old version.


      My concern is, what did they do overall to get the weight reduction, what got sacrificed.
