View allIt looks like the Bose refurbs. are indeed refurbished since my BT range can be 10+ meters no problem. So yours seems to have problem if need be within 5 meters
My only complain with Bose bluetooth is range, I need to be within 5 meters from the source. My Jabra headphones let me wonder throughout my apartment without any issues,
Just want to summarize what I experience:
1) Noise cancellation is perfect and it is very comfortable to wear
2) Music sound not so much and underwhelmed. Compare with others it can be better
3) When in call (skype, team) the voice is clear but there's light static noise. I experience no sidetone problem. I did not try using it with my phone yet
4) The bluetooth connection drops couple times during one hour conversation. It seems like every time the battery level drops so does the connection
Edit
5) Charging light seems to have problem. It gets to 100% charged but charging light does not indicate it (remains yellow) - edit: It worked now
In all it is decent deal. But if you use it for meetings, conference, it is not recommended.
Thinking of returning them... Now I'm confused if it's 30 day returns or 90 day returns? On their website they say 90 but in the box they say 30??
i thought crickets only sing in the evening and when i heard the same noise in the afternoon i thought it was the sound coming out of the headset...
lol...
i sent what i thought was faulty to bose and get a new one.
so i experimented with other one (i ordered 2 QC35) since I was hearing the SAME cricket sound.
The experiment consisted of closing the window in the afternoon--- boom. sound gone.
Well, i have already shipped the headset off to get it replaced anyways-- so i got today a brand new (not in a refurbished box--- literally brand new) QC35 in silver color! SIlver is definitely dope!!
Lesson learned--- always be aware of the sound around you!!! XD
This affect both QC 35 I & II.

Also people on the other side of the call can literally hear my cricket sound whenever i speak
Happy with the purchase, as well!
DOM is March 19, 2019 firmware 4.3.6. No visible blemish found, looks pretty new with some new material smell.
Battery is 70% but quickly drops to 60% after pairing.
Happy with the purchase.
*edited* I updated to firmware 4.5.2 and I do notice that it doesn't sound as good as 4.3.6. It's very subjective I know. On 4.3.6, some of the sound is like that "wow u can do that it's sweet". The wow factor is gone on 4.5.2. I am downgrading...
Sound compared to the Sony XM3's is definitely more flat, not bass heavy for sure. Noise cancelling seems very similar in my ears, and clamping force is less on the QC35II.
Update: Echo is gone after the firmware update but still have the static noise.
if you had the opportunity to trade these for an airpods pro, would you do it?
Anyone else not see a charge on their credit card? I had a pending charge on Aug 5th that was removed a few days later. But I haven't seen a new charge since.
Ended up calling instead, waited about 20 mins on the phone before getting a CSR, whole thing was done in 28 mins. New ear cups are on the way, no charge.
Everything worked out in the end but I think Bose's customer experience could use a little refurbishing.
Looks very clean and like-new. There was some dust/wear from it being in the box, but nothing else.
On firmware version 4.3.6 and D.O.M = Aug 6 2019
So glad I took a chance and just ordered these as soon as I saw them.
For product info, go to the gear icon on the top right and scroll down.
Btw don't these come with 90 day risk free. Mine came with an insert that says 30 days return?
Manufactured date: April 27, 2019
