    • Got model 1 a few years ago for a similar price. Using them daily for work, no issues at all. I think the model 2 got a "mute" physical button.

    • Considering ordering this but Bose.ca won't accept my FlexDelivery address. They insist on delivering to my home and their online shipping info says they can't guarantee that they won't dump it for porch pirates. Not cool with that. Any ideas?

    • FWIW I ordered refurb QC35 II's a few years ago from Bose. Came in a refurb box but otherwise you couldn't tell the difference. New ear pads and new battery (bigger deal for me as the batteries aren't user replaceable) too.

      Highly recommend!

    • Amazing to use on the plane. The noise canceling is great and I found them more comfortable than the Sony XM4. Sound quality is good but not exceptional.

    • I'm glad I got it for $150 Bose Outlet at Halton Hills Pre-COVID.
Was this a sale or the regular price at the outlet store?

    • I bought a pair of refurbished Bose QC 35 (not sure If II'S) a year or so ago and I really like them very comfortable to wear for long hours, and recently used them on a flight and noticed a big difference. These were my first headset with ANC and they have been great. The pair I received looked and felt great. Recently had to replace the earpads, so bought from a third party seller on Amazon and they have been just as good as the originals. These also fold up fairly slim into the carrying case which is nice for travelling.

Although I haven't experienced it, I've read Sony has better sound/ANC.
Sony sounds better but Bose is something I can fall asleep to wearing. Bose's comfort is really good.

We have both Bose and Sony in my household, and they’re both excellent in terms of ANC. Sony is a bit bass heavy out of the box but you can adjust that with EQ. Can’t go wrong either way.

The Bose Refurnished I’ve seen are basically like new except the box is different.

    • I wonder whether they replace the ear cups during the refurbishment process.
The ear cups are brand new according to Bose. I find Bose refurbs as nearly as good as Apples, they look new except for packaging.
