Posted February 1: 24 Hour Sale: Get Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones for $379.00 (regularly $449.00)

Start your February with brand new headphones from Bose, where their latest-generation Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones are on sale for $379.00 (regularly $449.00) – a savings of $70.00.

This one-day-only deal is also available at Amazon.ca and for reference, $379.00 matches the historical low for QuietComfort 45 headphones, which was previously seen during Black Friday 2021.

Originally unveiled on August 31, the QuietComfort 45 are Bose's long-overdue successor to the extremely popular QuietComfort 35 II, with upgrades including a refined design, better noise cancellation, improved microphones, longer battery life and USB-C. Bose has also retained the same physical button layout as the QC 35 II with the QC 45, instead of using contentious gesture-based controls like the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. A few other features include:

  • Listen to music for up to 23 hours on a single charge
  • Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology delivers a more immersive sound experience
  • Aware Mode lets you hear your surroundings and your music at the same time
  • TriPort acoustic vents in the earcups add depth and fullness to provide a deeper listening experience
  • Volume-optimized Active EQ boosts lows and highs so your music sounds balanced at every level
  • Tiny microphones in the earcups focus on your voice, while the noise-rejecting algorithm filters out environmental sounds for clearer, sharper conversations
  • Cushioned earcups made from plush synthetic leather, impact-resilient glass-filled nylon and cast-metal hinges offer exceptional comfort and durability
  • Included USB-C cable charges the headphones in up to 2.5 hours while a fast 15-minute charge lets you play for up to 2.5 hours
  • Bose Music app lets you adjust noise-cancelllation or Bluetooth settings for a customized sound experience

This offer is effective online on February 1 only and both QuietComfort 45 colours qualify for free shipping.

    • It was better a few weeks ago with a $70 coupon instead of $50 for what it's worth

    • Unlike headphones, Sleepbuds™ don’t stream music or podcasts. They play content only from the Bose Sleep app.

Seems like a steep price for headphones with one specific use.

Yeah that's the main concern about those ones, hopefully they fix that on the next gen cause I wanted to try them out.

If they fix it on the next iteration then it’ll be a competitor against AirPod pro

      $329 retail is ridiculous.

    • I don't think you'll be able to have a good night sleep with that price.

Exactly. Can't you just pay $20 for a white noise machine or something that has other noises?

    • I don’t know about you guys but I sleep every night. If I could pay, I dunno, a dollar per night for much better sleep I would.

If I get 3 years of use out of these then that’s less than 20c per day.

There are also problems about the battery from what I heard

Kind of hard to bring the white noise machine on the plane with you, and curl up and sleep without bothering anyone else.

These aren’t to play music, likely never will because size and Bluetooth / battery etc. If they worked fully, would be worth it.. but they had issues with Gen 1 and this series isn’t perfect either. They are comfortable to sleep with too.

It’s a niche market, one that doesn’t have too many competitors but I’d they get it right eventually, I’d get another pair :)

    • I ordered the Qc earbuds last sale and it basically didn’t work since I could hear this loud static sounds within 30 minutes of turning them on. Easy return but a waste of time and effort. It really shook my faith in refurbed Bose products.

    • These are the most comfortable ear plugs for me, bar none. No other ear plug, be it foam, silicone, cotton wax, etc. have proved to be comfortable over long term. They either expand in the ear canal which eventually becomes painful, or seal off the ear canal completely which causes wax buildup and related issues. Lately I don't even play the white noises anymore, the noise is dampened enough to make a difference by simply wearing them. I kinda feel bad for paying so much for a feature that I don't use, but no other "dumb" ear plug has been so comfortable, so in the end I decided it is worth it.

    • These changed my life. Have a neighbour who lets their dog out between midnight and 4am every night who barks for 5 minutes straight. With regular ear plugs id always wake up even when they’re still in my ear. These buds were worth the cost for me.

    • Word of caution about shipping times for Bose products being shipped from the States, which the refurbished Sleepbuds are. I ordered the refurbished Sleepbuds at the beginning of February and they still haven't been received by UPS. Bose claims that the USA/Canada border blockades are the reason for the delay but I'm getting impatient when UPS hasn't even received the package from the warehouse in 3 weeks.
