Listen to your music without distractions with this deal from Best Buy, because you can get Sennheiser MOMENTUM 2 Noise-Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones for $259.99 (regularly $499.99) with free shipping, for a total savings of $240.00! This deal is also available at Amazon.ca for the same price.

Originally released in 2015, Sennheiser MOMENTUM 2 headphones feature a closed-back design with active noise-cancellation, which uses microphones to cancel out ambient background noise to let you enjoy your audio in peace. For reference, $259.99 is a historical low price for these headphones, likely due to Sennheiser's release of MOMENTUM 3 headphones in September. Other features include:

  • Closed circumaural design with Bluetooth and NFC wireless connectivity
  • Luxurious leather headband and earpads for a feeling of substance and quality
  • Amazing stereo sound across the audible range thanks to Sennheiser’s 18? high-end transducers
  • Robust, foldable headband for easy storage
  • NoiseGard hybrid active noise cancellation for optimum isolation from background noise and audio performance
  • VoiceMax technology with two built-in microphones for excellent speech quality and external noise removal
  • Up to 22 hours of battery life with both Bluetooth and NoiseGard activated
  • Comes with attachable audio cable for wired use when Bluetooth connectivity is not permitted

This deal is available online and in Best Buy stores (where available) until October 31.

lols is that what it is! shows how much I'm out of the totl bt stuff. I'm betting the V3 is much closer to the $400-500 mark though.

fwiw, these days I'm rockin a cheap on neck Umidigi Ubeats for $29 & while not moving about, a Senn PX100 II also @$30 on clearance at my local chapters. kinda done spending large on highend BT cans.

Yep. I went to Best Buy to hear what the 2s sounded like. The display were 3s but the shelves had 2s. Could be confusing for people who aren't familiar with the 2 models. Just for the fun of it, I paired some of the different headphones (top Bose and Sony) with my cellphone and gave a listen. It certainly didn't sound quite as nice as their plugged in demos.

I was thinking about the Bose QC35 from the Bose outlet but I want to be able to easily turn off the noise cancelling.

Edit: Sold and shipped by Best Buy and don't forget Rakuten cash back.
Edit 2: Noise cancellation is always active when they are on, in case someone is looking for a set where NC can be turned off.
Just an fyi, QC35 II feature a Google Assistant/alexa physical button that can be programmed using the app to modify (or turn off) the NC.

I did some AB testing with these and the Sony's for audio quality (ANC wasn't a big selling point for me) and these were noticeably better IMO.

    • Out of the box, the sonys have bass that may need to be eqed a couple of notches down before they start sounding decent.

That would exasperate my biggest issue with the Sony's, namely they struggled a bit with bass bleed with heavily distorted music. Either way, if ANC is not a chief focus, I think the Sennheiser's are just better.

    • I’ve had a pair of these for years, would like to point out that they also come with a 3.5mm cable and you’re also able to use these via USB connection as well. ANC isn’t as good as the other two but that it still does an awesome with ambient and plane noises.

They also work wirelessly while charging, which I find is a rarity for BT headphones.

    • These or the sony h900n at 179.99. Does anyone have experience with both?

    • PXC550 is their best offer, I use it when I need hardcore audio quality otherwise Sony XM3 (900 is similar but ANC is not top) is for easy listening mostly.

Haven't use the 900s but I thought the M2s sounded better than the 1000s FWIW. Pretty sure they're just trying to clear out old stock at this point, which is why they're so cheap.

    • Agreed on the sound quality, also checked out the Sennheiser PXc550 and the Sonys - for pure sound quality, I kept the Senns and got rid of the Sonys.

Wait for BF. These are junk BT 4.0. New ones are BT 5
Codecs also suck no AptX, which the 900Ns have btw.

None of those are significant reasons not to buy a pair of headphones, especially when there is no way the new version will be anywhere near this price on BF.

Well, the price certainly isn't right. These shouldve gone on clearance last year with the wireless technology they're packing. The Sony 900N at Costco carries AptX and LDAC which these don't.

These are certainly better used Wired. They do have a better balanced sound but again lack the connectivity. If you're looking for wireless try the momentum earbuds which will go on sale for around 280 BF.
