    • I am highly attracted by this product because I became a heaving Samsung user over the years (daily use of my Galaxy S8 and their app SideSync) but the amazon reviews pull me away from this one.. Too bad :(

    • Yeah Galaxy Buds should be unveiled today, and I think it might be worth the wait. The wireless charging alone is a great feature imho, any other improvement in battery or sound quality (which should be expected?) would be interesting as well.

    • any idea what the price point of the new buds would be?

    • I had these and returned them after a day. The sound is terrible and the battery life was bad as well. Hopefully the new ones are better, but I wouldnt pay $50 for these. Just my opinion from an actual user.

Price match with best buy who is selling them for $230 for additional savings. All three colours - black, pink and grey available from amazon. I own a pair and am happy with them...good deal at $135. New model supposed to be unveiled today from Samsung.

    • Not seeing the Icon X listed on Best Buy unless I'm missing something...

EDIT - Nvm, listed as 'IconX'

    • If you ask me the icon x are incredible just because I can put music on them without carrying my phone. I like to be relaxed when working out and they are perfect.

No other earphones have storage capacity

    • Having been using these for 8+ months, gym, transit, work, about 30hrs/week. They have always worked. Forget they are in sometimes. One interesting side (negative) effect... they block out sound very well and are discrete... sometime people think your ignoring them.

When was that? Did you buy the 2017 or 2018 version?

    • New ones , Galaxy Buds, will be $130 u.s. and will be able to charge off the new s10 phones. These iconx will likely drop farther in price once the new ones come out March 8th.

    • I don't recommend these. Lots of wireless interference while simply walking down Bay Street during rush hour.

    • I have a set of these that I got for free in a promotion. I would never have paid full price for them and Im not sure I would pay this price but they are not bad in my experience. The sound is not bad at all and I like that they have 4GB of memory to put music on if you don't want to carry your phone. I have never tried to use them for more than a couple of hours so Im not sure how long the battery lasts but I haven't had any trouble with it. I find the noise cancelling works very well too. I like to listen to music when I use my snowblower. With the cheap pair of over the ear headphones I was using it was still difficult to hear the music over the snowblower but with these I can hear it much better. Also, the charging case holds a charge as well so if you are on the go and the battery dies you can recharge once in the case without plugging in. The one feature I wish they had was the ability to pair with more than one phone. I have two S7 phones (work/personal) and it would have been great if I could pair both.

2016 version admittedly was awful on battery life due to heart rate monitoring. but 2018 is improved and this is a hot buy. Galaxy Buds no longer have any fitness feature nor On board music storage. As a runner, I prefer 2018 over Buds.
