Listen to music or conference calls with new headphones from Amazon.ca, where you can get Sony WH-1000XM3 Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones for $298.00 (regularly $449.99) with free shipping -- a savings of $151.99!

Originally released in 2018, Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones are one of the most popular noise-cancelling headphones on the market and one of our top five choices for The Best Noise-Cancelling Headphones. Sony released their latest-generation WH-1000XM4 headphones in August 2020 for $499.99, but the differences are minor and the design is identical to the WH-1000XM3 -- for reference, $298.00 matches the historical low price for the WH-1000XM3 and other notable features include:

  • Over-ear design helps block out external noise that is not your music
  • 40mm Liquid Crystal Polymer driver means that your music will have great sound quality
  • Bluetooth technology allows you to rock out without keeping track of a wire
  • NFC-ready so you can pair it with NFC-enabled devices that have music you want to listen to
  • Proprietary HD noise canceling processor ensures that outside noise doesn't interfere with your music
  • Built-in mic and Google Assistant enables you to cue music just by pressing a button and asking
  • 30-hour battery life keeps you listening to your music all day
  • Battery recharges to five hours of listening in just 10 minutes
  • Foldable design for easy transportation

This deal is effective online for a limited time and qualifies for free shipping from Amazon.ca.

I have read people returning more expensive electronics (tvs, cameras) being returned to amazon without issues

Unless Amazon changed their return policy within the last several months or so, yeah, you can return headphones.

I bought a different pair of Sony headphones earlier this year, and it turned out to be pretty subpar in terms of performance, and Amazon accepted the return no problem.

IMO audio is better on the Sony.

      For comfort: Personal preference.
      For audio quality: Personal preference.
      For ANC: Sony

      Go and try them both.

      Sony's for audio quality
      Bose is marginally more comfortable
I like the Sony's cover-one-ear so you can hear someone talking to you feature.

source: picked up both during prime day to test. Keeping the Sony's as I feel the bass is lacking in the bose.

The only things that are better on the QC35 are comfort and the ability to connect to two devices at once.
XM3 Sound better, and have better ANC, its not even close.

    • Bose QC2 was closer to the Sony XM2 (neck and neck). Sony has updated their headphones twice now and are on XM4. This is a great deal! I'd update mine if my XM2's werent still working perfectly.

Really just depends on what you value most. For me, comfort is king in this category.

Sound quality wise, the ANC900BT is much better than either of the XM3 or QC35 but they weren't comfortable to wear so I rarely used them.
