Treat your ears to new headphones from Amazon.ca, where you can get Apple's new AirPods Max for $779.00 with free shipping!

This deal is sold and shipped by Amazon.ca and not a third-party seller, as Amazon.ca added nearly 400 official Apple products to their store in November.

Originally released on December 8, AirPods Max are Apple's new flagship wireless headphones featuring an over-ear design with premium materials including aluminium earcups, stainless steel headband and mesh canopy. AirPods Max are available in five colours and include Apple's H1 wireless chip and active noise cancellation, which lets you listen to music, podcasts or phone calls without any distractions. A few other bells and whistles include:

  • Over-ear wireless headphones with Apple-designed dynamic drivers that provides high-fidelity audio
  • Active noise cancellation blocks outside noise so you can immerse yourself in music
  • Transparency mode for hearing and interacting with the world around you
  • Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking provides theatre-like sound that surrounds you
  • Computational audio combines custom acoustic design with the Apple H1 chip for breakthrough listening experiences
  • Knit-mesh canopy and memory foam ear cushions for an exceptional fit
  • Magical experience with effortless setup, on-head detection and seamless switching between devices
  • 20 hours of listening, movie-watching or talk time with active noise cancellation and spatial audio enabled
  • Slim Smart Case lets you store AirPods Max in ultra low-power mode

While pricey, AirPods Max have received positive reviews for their robust design and excellent audio quality and are somewhat hard-to-find, as the shipping time from Apple is currently upwards of 10 weeks.

This offer is effective online for a limited time and qualifies for free shipping from Amazon.ca.

Hopefully the performance holds up after a few software updates down line " to preserve battery life and performance".

    • $800 and they can't even include a proper case?

      Too "environmentally friendly" I suppose.

    • I understand the downvotes for anything Apple, but these get decent reviews from audiophiles/audio sites when used with Apple products. Apple products don’t go on sale so early in their lifecycle (not even for some corp discounts), so this is a good deal for people who want one. The light-coloured headband may discolour from god-knows-what-you-put-in-your-hair and sweat and oil, but if you don’t plan to resell them then that’s fine.

I bought Pros back in Feb, they were expensive but they Just Work, I can workout in them, the sound quality is fine and the NR actually works.

What do you mean down votes for anything Apple? People will upvote Apple products if it really is a good deal. Tons of upvotes for the recent Staples Apple Watch deal as well as Bestbuy IPad deals.

Apple airpods max headphones are over priced and are not worth the money even with the discount.

Better to get Sony XM4s or even Bose QC35s when they are on sale.

    • if it's a product you think is overpriced but still a deal, it still belongs here. especially if it's not commonly on sale.

they will go into low-power standby within 5 minutes once you take them off, so not a big deal.

    • Hmm, so one group of people will respect me more and consider me of higher status, while another group of people will know I'm an idiot and a sheep for buying this.

Status or sound quality... Decisions, decisions...

Was there an update to the software/firmware? On release it takes 2 hours before they go into Low Energy mode.
