    • Is the Acacia knife block set worth it at $49.97?

Stores won't price match the online clearance price unfortunately.
Haven't used it, but set it up today. Seems very worth it, especially considering other block sets are much more

    • Which one?
My apologies. It is the last item in the original post for $20. If you are referencing the knives it was the $25 set I ordered.

Tidyliving Extra Wide Single Tier Zippered Clothes Closet (60 Inch, Plastic Base)
      Reg: $42.97
      Sale: $20

    • I just received my package yesterday. Have to say for first impression I believe it is worth it. Keep in mind my comparison is similarly priced knives from CT which are usually poor quality in the long run.

I have also added an additional item to the original post if anyone is interested in or looking for laundry/storage solutions for clothes.

    • Are you referring to a different Acacia one? The one OP posted is only $25?
Nope. Out of stock online, in my store it was $50 and still worth it I'm sure! Haven't opened it yet.

    • "nitrogen infused knives" damn... And here I am using $10 knives from Canadian Tire.

Edit: ordered it. Good reviews. Hopefully better than the CT knife set I've been using for 7 years.
lol, i am kinda surprised that we haven't seen any knifes marketed as "made with real vibranium!" yet......

    • regardless I showed them, the price for pickup in store is same, Employees are dumb..they mentioned, it is their policy no more price match and they encourage customers to order more online and take the advantage of discounted price.

    • Anyone here who can shed some light on what '"Nitrogen infused stainless steel" really is and whether it's non-toxic?
It's a gimmick. Even if it's true, air is 78% nitrogen, so non-toxic. Don't eat the knives :)

    • Thanks OP! ordered the Nitrogen infused knives, reviews look good, everything else is pretty much OOS. I have also suffered from the CT knives, they are pathetic.

    • I ordered 4 boxes of the wine glasses, even though I have a ton of stemmed ones I use for an event outside each year, I figure these might be less prone to spilling. Fingers crossed they arrive intact.
I could have picked up at the store but the last time I tried that I waited for 40 minutes and my order never came out and had to fight to get them to reverse the charge. Our local store is woefully understaffed, likely to drive people to the website/delivery.

    • Ordered the wine glasses, received it today, and without opening the box, I could hear all the shattered glass lol

Going to try and order one more time and hope the shipping company doesn't destroy it again.
That sucks. I received mine yesterday and they made it. They put tons of those air packs in the box.

    • Got the Acacia for $50 at Walmart. Didn't see it at first, and the other $40 one was there for $50.

I started going through the online checkout while in the store for the $40 one to save $10. As I was, a rep walked by and I asked them to check stock on the Acacia. She said it's not a 'modular' item, and found it elsewhere for me!

Sticker on it for 179.99. It scanned at $50 😁 Super happy for my first knife block. Oh adulting.

    • Bought something like this on sale from Amazon couple years ago. Still sharpens dull knives fine.

Remember to properly wash your knives after sharpening to get rid of debris not visible to the naked eye.

2-Stage Edge Grip Knife Sharpener https://a.co/d/gPYfSt3

PS: use this only for cheap knives. The really high end ones require a sharpening whetstone.
speedy sharp from canadian tire does an even better job imo

    • I have atleast a dozen of dull knifes, can you point us to how we can sharpen them.

    • Same. I got a set of 3 knives and a cutting board on clearance for $10. I sharpen them every week for 10sec. They dull quick. Hopefully these Cuisinart ones work better.
