    • Anyone have any experience with the Havsta series? I was hoping Billy would go on sale.

    • The fine print says not valid on previous purchases but I've read in past threads of people getting price matched. I ordered pax on the 15% off Christmas day sale so i don't think it would work but I may give it a shot since I have to go to the store anyways.

    • I don't have a flyer but this was emailed to me.

I was confused about the wording too about previous purchases but I read last year's post and it seemed like people here got price adjustments. I bought my shelves at 2 different locations so I hope it isn't an issue to go toto one place for both and I hope the wording in their fine print doesn't disqualify price adjustments.

Ikea has a 365 day return policy so I don't see why they wouldn't just do a price adjustment. Worse case buy the same items again at sale price and return using old receipt.

The way this promo is described, I’ve got no idea. Its like a freaking moron wrote everything.

I’m thinking yes because its a “wardrobe”. But the promo wording is so vague its hard to be 100% sure.

"Up to" 15% off whatever that's actually going to mean in terms of discount.

Plus a refund of whatever it costs to use their wardrobe planner which I thought was free.

Seriously. How stupid was this guy that approved this?

Well I already got 15% off for their Christmas day sale. Everything was 15% off if you got it shipped. Just me being greedy and trying to double dip!

    • Pax Wardrobe planner software on the website is free. PAX wardrobe planning service which is an in-store consulting service with an IKEA PAX specialist costs $39 per hour.

The software is annoying. Can never line up anything to line up right up against a wall.

I don't have experience with the Havsta, but after feeling both the Havsta and Billy in person the Havsta is much more sturdy...if the price difference didn't give it away. That's because the Havsta is made of solid pine, whereas the Billy is all particleboard.

But if the Billy is what you're looking for, they might have a sale on Billy bookcases next month based on this email I got last year in late February:

If you Havsta ask, it's not for you.

    • I definitely want to take advantage of whatever discount I can. Went to Ikea last week. Man that place is always packed! We tried out the software, but I don't see what the person will do that I couldn't do, but if it's free, wouldn't mind I guess.

And I don't remember these other names like havsta, only PAX. Am I missing something?

Must have been written by a Millennial - grammar does not apply - anything goes!

What's so vague? Pax is a wardrobe. Ikea wardrobes are on sale. Pax is obviously included in the sale. Wait until 9th to see exactly how much the discount will be.
