    • Do they also sell small stuff like say dishes, etc or just big stuff?

    • That was fast. The last kitchen event was from October 30 – December 11, 2017. The promo was that you got back $100 in IKEA gift cards for every $1,000 you spent on kitchen purchases.

The promos have gotten worse. It used to be 10% in gift cards or 15%if you buy an appliance. People used to buy the cheap $60 exhaust hood to get extra 5% and sell that on kijiji.

The last kitchen I did, it same to around 3500 in cabinets. So the gift card would have been over 525 at 15%.now it will be just 300.

I agree they have gotten worse, but I also think they have heard this from customers. We will have to wait and asses the deal once they announce Monday....or sooner if someone has RFD insider information :)

I was one of the last few people who were able to avail of the tiered GCs from the old deals (10,15,20%). I agree, the current deal is poor compared to the previous one.

If anyone's curious, I'll give an example where someone spends 10k w/ 3 kitchen appliances:

Current deal will give you $1000 in GCs
Previous deal will give you $2000 in GCs

Huge difference. That extra $1000 could be spent elsewhere in the store, not only for kitchen items.

Do you have proof that this is the deal they will be offering?

    • So, I have no idea who your source is, because that person should know what the offer is.

My "source" says yes, same 10%/$1000. Starts Monday.

Sorry, just saw a snap of the front page. :-(

      It also said:
SEKTION / BODBYN white and grey kitchen priced from $125/lin.ft.

But I don't know if this is a sale price or not.
